I tested this by using my urine (control) and my brother's (he vapes). Surely enough, they work. You can clearly see the positive and negative tests in the pictures I posted.

did 2 test, smoker and non-smoker. did show up as positive and negative. took about 5min to show up. it didn't come with a cup, should come with a cup.

Had a friend help me out and this read accurately as a positive test for the nicotine user and negative for the non-user. Instructions were easy to follow and the results were pretty instant, but also stayed consistent after the 5 minutes were up.What threw me off a little is that 2 lines means negative and 1 meant positive so be aware of that!

Received this product fast and undamaged. Set comes with five dip tests all of which are individually sealed and well made. They are a hard rigid plastic (similar to a pregnancy test) not flimsy or anything and they are super easy to use, just dip the top of the test into urine for 15 seconds-ish and wait a couple minutes for results (mine showed in less than a minute but the directions allow for some breathing room). I’ve recently began my adventure in quitting smoking (please don’t start and if you do smoke now is a great time to quit, you can do this!!) and as a long time smoker I knew I would show on this test so I could easily vouch for its accuracy. And it was 100% accurate. Myself and my wife took one (she does not smoke) and the results of both tests were accurate. My only real complaint and the reason for four stars is as a reviewer I’ve done A LOT of these type of at home tests for various things and generally all the kits I’ve gotten come with at the very least urine cups of some sort and this kit did not. Luckily I have so many urine cups laying around it’s almost comical so I had cups to spare to take these but if you don’t have a silly amount of those laying around your kind of on your own. For the money these are great tests, they are accurate and very well made but in my opinion kits like this should ALWAYS come as a complete set, and the cups are basically step one of the process. HOWEVER, that being said they are accurate and easy to use just be aware it’s going to require so more parts to actually do these tests. Overall I recommend these, if you’re looking for a quality nicotine test that gives accurate results and are willing or able to furnish the cups. Directions were easy to read and clear and are even printed on each individual test so no hardship there at all. Great product.

I purchased these to keep on hand to check for nicotine use. These can be used as a way to test anyone that you suspect to be using nicotine that claims that they are not. Ideally, you will not need to use these, however, they are easy to use if you do need them. I believe that these are only effective for recent use. I have not had to use them yet for real suspected use. The test one I did came up negative, as it should, because I am not a nicotine user. Good to be informed if a child/family member is using nicotine so that you can help.

These are straight forward and easy to use, and you don't need a large sample either.I tested a non-smoker, smoker, and the child of a smoker, and got the results I expected. They do take a few minutes to show results, but it's not that bad.

It would help if this Nicotine Test Strip came with the right instructions

I had ingested some nicotine and it clearly showed up as a positive in the test, see the second photo above.The test kit is easy enough to use once you figure it out. As you can see from the first photo they sent me the instructions from a Marijuana test kit, so I had no instructions on how to use the kit except what was on the box (the box was correct and the test strips were in fact nicotine test units).Simply pee in a cup, pull the tab down on the tester revealing the test strip and dip it into the pee for 10 seconds. Make sure you don't let the pee touch the plastic at the top of the test strip as that will invalidate the test. Wait 5 minutes and you will get your result, but my positive showed up almost immediately.It is hard for me to trust a company that provided the wrong instructions in a medical test kit, that just doesn't create confidence in the product and its accuracy.
