This two-speed fan advertised as variable, is a well-built piece of equipment that moves a significant amount of air. While the two-speed functionality might seem limiting, in practice, especially when used in a duct setting, the difference is minimal. I find that running it on low speed all the time meets my needs perfectly. The build quality is impressive, and the customer service is outstanding; the seller responded almost immediately when I inquired about the two-speed feature. I'm so satisfied with this fan that I'm planning to order another one, this time opting for the 6" model instead of the 8". Overall, it's a reliable product that I highly recommend.

Unit only comes on with remote. Remote is included.. but no battery. Nor is there a manual indicating what battery you need.Still trying to figure out what I need to use this.

Remote requires an odd size battery. For the prices, they should include one. Also the fan has no external switch so when the remote dies you're screwed.

Mine came with a battery it's a 12volt 23A. As far as air movement it does that in spades, it is a little loud though. You do need the remote to operate. I would have gave it 5 stars but for the oddball battery.
