Everything you'd expect in a higher end office chair. Easy to sit in, control, and keeps pressure where you need it. Very comfortable. I would prefer adjustable height on the armrests, that is a failing in design, but it fits me, so I'm good.

Issues from day 1:Piston would release slowly over time. Causing the chair to slowly lower itself.Noticed a slice in the leather.Chair is wiggly. Easy left and right movements. It's been noticeable since day one. I made sure when putting the chair together to hear the "click" of the piston going into the chair itself to confirm proper placement. It's not sturdy at all. For a chair that's suppose to support 500lb I don't feel sturdy sitting it this chair at 230lbs. They've attached a new bar mechanism at the bottom in order to help this issue, it does very little to help the movement. Based on this it seems like a known issue.Had to do a refund on this chair. Completely dissatisfied with the chair for $500.

I originally had a Serta iComfort i5000. The i6000 has a better design on the seat and backrest (sides are curved inward and tufted rather than smooth). i6000 only available in brown leather, i5000 available in gray or black leather. Caster base and arm rests on the i5000 were chrome metal, i6000 uses satin gray plastic. i6000 chair is narrower so it can be rolled through a standard 36" doorway. i5000 had to be turned on its side to clear door width. HERE IS THE BIGGEST CONCERN: Leather on i5000 was very "cheap" (especially for a $500 chair) and started to crack and peel within 6 months of daily use. Only had the i6000 for a couple of weeks and is not showing any signs of deterioration. Will see how it does in a couple of months.
