These are the best magnet accessories on the market. Stong, lightweight, perfect size for a cap, vest, or pack. Holds flies and hemostat securely and no fear of any of them falling off. The only reason for one less star is the colors. They are very attractive in both orange and blue but highly reflective. I returned it for the matte black finish and now my kit is perfect. Love all of Clings products.

It’s a great idea, It’s a good product. I purchased this because after wearing a full fishing vest for over 50 years, I switched to a sling pack. The fly drying pads on the pack are loops (like Velcro) and while it’s easy only to get the flies to stick, it’s very hard to get them off without possible damage. With this, the magnet makes holding and removing flies easy. My concerns are that flies can be wiped off by a twig or the casual movement of your arm, rod or loose clothing. So far so good with one trip to my favorite stream so far this year. Also, while this is held in place with a very strong magnet, I found it works best through only one layer of fabric. My sling pack doesn’t have very many places that meet this criteria so I mounted it on my hat. Not ideal. My only other concerns that it is relatively small and I’d feel safe with 6 or 7 flies mounted. It’s a fairly expensive solution but a great idea. My last thought: I’ll be surprised if the backing plate doesn’t rust after a season that includes rain and sweat. We’ll see!

this not only looks great but functions great also. nice to be able to throw 2 or three flies that are in constant rotation and not have to fight anything to get them ready to go. magnet is strong holds even the smallest flies. great design. put mine on my vest but would work on anything.

It’s a great idea, It’s a good product. I purchased this because after wearing a full fishing vest for over 50 years, I switched to a sling pack.
