I got this to rent books off Libby. It works great and having a different device instead of my phone to read has made it easier to not get distracted. Itβs lightweight and itβs so nice not having so much glare on the screen. Love this purchase.

I have bought these for each of my younger kids (8 and 5). Their time spent reading has skyrocketed. Library integration allows me to add books to their devices easily and quickly without having to worry about returning books on time! I can load books before a long road trip and they are entertained for hours while exercising their brains. Color pictures make it so much more enjoyable for them to read. I love that there is no paying extra to avoid ads. Battery life is great. The size is perfect for the kids to be able to sit and hold comfortably for long stretches reading. Every member of our family has a color Kobo ereader (two of these and four Libra Colours for the older family members) and just about every day I find myself thinking what great purchases these were. I am hard pressed to come up with anything else that makes me think that so often.

I looooove my kobo. It does have a little bit of ghosting but not too bad. Easy to navigate and upload my epubs into it.

I have been seeking an e-reader for some time. After thorough research and comparison with the Kindle, I opted for the Kobo. I appreciate its ability to fit comfortably in my inner jacket pocket. The color quality meets my expectations for an e-reader, and its lightweight design makes it hardly noticeable when carried. Reading on this device is very comfortable, closely resembling the experience of reading a physical book. In contrast to the Kindle, I can borrow books from my local library using my Kobo, which is a wonderful feature! Additionally, I enjoy the reading statistics it provides, such as the estimated time to complete a book based on my reading pace. This e-reader is an excellent choice, especially considering its affordability.

The color looks great however it does freeze up occasionally, which is not what I expected since I've only had the device for 1.5 months. I also have a kindle and haven't experienced any freezing so it's disappointing that the kobo doesn't seem like it will stand the test of time based on the freezing. I do love that it integrates seamlessly with Libby/Overdrive.

Iβm in love with this little thing. The display is beautiful and not harsh at all on my eyes and itβs very light and easy to hold in one hand. My cat is pleased because that means I can pet him while I hold what Iβm reading. Iβd recommend Kobo to anyone that needs an e-reader!

Very disappointed in this product and customer service. I was searching for a great reader and tried out several. One of the criteria was to have a crisp view and soothing for the eyes. Like most of these small readers it failed. Additionally it felt more like a toy with its plastic frame. The policy was a 60 day return so I wasnβt hesitant to try. What I didnβt realize was you not only pay for return shipping you get charged a $32 restocking fee! Certainly not a customer friendly company I would purchase from again.

Did a lot of research on this reader and was totally satisfied. It's kinda hard to read comics but asides from that, I have no complaints. The screen has ample size and the dark mode is adjustable to add more comfort at night.

Very good Ebook Reader
Excellent product. Occasionally locks up. Page advance buttons sometimes do not work correctly. Colors are not bright but almost pastel. But it is not a Kindle with ownership of the books locked down. There is a much, much more free books you can dl, and the books stay on your machine forever. Also, the optional Kobo Plus program is tremendously better than Kindles. You can dl as many books as you want and they are yours to keep, not only 10 at a time and you have to give up books to dl more. like Kindle. I already have 120 books on my device.

Its a lightweight ereader.Compared to pure bw screens, the screen is a bit darkish. But you will get used to it fast.UI is excellent.There is auto brightness available.Except for the lack of 3rd party accessories, everything else looks good.
