I like these because I am left handed. These can be used left or right handed. They are very sharp and if properly cared for, they stay sharp for a long time.

Very sharp and easy to use and grip with no pressure on fingers.. However, they are small and don’t work well to make an even cut on a large sheet of paper.

I have been buying Fiskars Easy Action Micro-tips for years since I tried my first pair. I've always liked them, but even more so in recent years as my hands have started developing arthritis. The spring action means you only exert half the effort it takes to open and close traditional lever-action scissors, and the lack of the otherwise necessary finger loops means no more sore fingers and thumbs if you have lots of cutting to perform.Depending on how often I use them and what I am using them to cut, they last a remarkably long time. However, I do use them quite often, and I like having several pairs in various craft kits I keep packed for specific crafts and classes. Despite their fine engineering and quality, they will wear out at some point, so I have had to replace them occasionally. That is what drew me to these was the titanium coating on the blades. I use titanium coated sewing needles and have concluded that they stay sharp longer than standard steel needles. Though I have bought the Easy Action Micro-tips at stores like Joann Fabrics and Michael's, I have not see the titanium blades available at those retailers.So far, I like these enough to have bought a couple of extra pairs; only time will tell if they last longer than the regular ones.

These scissors are sharp and a great size for cutting fabric. Giving a 4 stars because one pair went dull within one week which is not normal for this brand . Sent back and received a replacement. I recommend these for any quilter.
Sharp blades but maybe not for smaller hands

However, only after about 10 mins of cutting, a blister started forming. We found that it was because the joints of the blades were really stiff. It was a tad of a struggle to get them to open & close. After the blister appeared, we decided to oil the joints of the blade with WD40. Made a whole big difference after.The loops of the scissors, made of hard plastic, are also too large for our hand size, so it feels like it's coming off as we are cutting & keeps rubbing against the skin.We would have preferred to purchase something with smaller & softer handles as we are doing a lot of cutting with it.
