This is a cute little little set of 12 figurines - and if you kiddos like playing with little figurines or wants to collect these, this is a great set. 11 of the figures can be seen in the package and it comes with one surprise (which is very appealing to the kiddos in my life right now).I agree that they do not stay on the bracelet well and the hair clip isn't great, so if that is the only appeal to your little, this might not be the best set. Or if they are happy wearing the set at home where you will always find the figurine if it pops off, that could be okay, but I wouldn't let them wear the jewelry out, as they are easy to lose.I think they are pretty well priced in the market for similar toys, so if this appeals to your little, it's probably a good get.

These figures leave something to be desired in my opinion. These figurines were not a terrible price but there really wasn't much to the set. They were sort of cute but for the price, I think you could pick out a toy that had more creativity or accessories to expand on a child's imagination and fun.

This is truly a trinket toy, with smaller plastic pieces. Comes with:- 1 yellow ring. Can snap on 1 "Gemmy Friend"- 1 gold crown necklace charm, on light pink nylon cord. Can snap on 2 "Gemmy Friends"- 8 interchangeable "Gemmy Friends" collectables, 7 are just as pictured and 1 surprise characterNote on the necklace, the received set was the same crown form. They also come as star or heart shaped. Refer to 3rd listing photo. Regardless, they all can hold 2 gems. Easily interachaged by my 6 year old, but I can see 4 year olds having difficulty. Also note, contains many small parts so wouldn't recommend for children that continue to mouth toys.And yes, there's a collecting factor to Gemmy Friends, with over 80 characters to collect. These turned out to be a great surprise gift for our Daughter. She has always been a fan of the do-it-yourself bracelet and charm kits. But she's never seen anything quite like this in stores before. Neither have my Wife nor I, for that matter. So we had a feeling that our Little Girl would be really excited when she saw the set, and she definitely was.There are different ways to "customize" the ring and necklace so that it can reflect your child's style (or even mood). We figured that what we would do is order more sets from the different series available. Some for our Daughter, some for her cousin that's about the same age. And then they can even do little trades during visits and sleepovers.The reasonable price for the set also makes it a really good choice for something like a holiday stocking stuffer, or the nicest item in a "party bag" that each kid gets for your child's birthday party. I think the fact that they're so unique will definitely make them a hit at any party, or even as a simple present (or reward). Because the pieces are more on the "soft" side and not hard plastic also makes them a practical gift for smaller kids around age 4 in particular.There aren't too many sets out at this exact moment, but I expect that to change very soon as they become more popular. The next thing we'll be ordering for our Daughter specifically will probably be the Unicorn Garden/Diamond Palace play sets (both come in the same package). There are some adorable extras and little accessories with those that we're sure she's going to love. For now, they get a thumbs up from Dad, Mom, and most important, Daughter!

We bought this for our two girls. They are ages six and three. I was not quite sure what to expect but I was impressed when I received it. The packaging and design are top-notch. One of the things that is very cool about this is it comes with two separate pieces. For us, with two girls, this was an awesome Situation because it allowed for us to gift this item to our two girls, and they could split it in each have a piece to play with. It comes with two main characters and a bunch of stickers that they can decorate the items. To be honest, this is very similar to other similar toys like Polly pocket , our kids love those and they were extremely excited to receive this. Overall design and quality are excellent. The packaging is excellent and this would make a great gift. I really cannot find anything that I would really change about this. I would highly recommend and I believe it is a good value for the price for what you get.
