Very clear sound and pretty powerful given Samsung and Sony systems that are more expensive don't get as loud or clear as this. Great radio reception that picks up stations clearly. I am honestly reminded of much older stereo systems that were built for quality. The speakers are compressed wood not plastic. You will be happy you got it if you purchase it.

Great little stereo for my small living room. I wanted. If you tune it right the sound is quality. I like the Bluetooth feature. I mainly bought it because I wanted a radio component to be able to listen to the radio when I wanted. If you’re looking for a small affordable stereo system then this would be a great option.
1.0 out of 5 stars Cheaply Made Main Unit Had Functionality Issues (aka It Didn't Work)
The first one I ordered had clearly been returned so that got sent back since I paid for a new product and not an open box unit. The second one was brand new, but it had functionality problems, namely, the face buttons on the main unit did not work except the power and eject buttons. That meant I could not play/skip CDs, switch from CD to radio, tune the radio, or adjust the bass and treble unless I used the remote. That's a no-go for me as I prefer using the main unit face buttons over the remote. I can't speak to sound quality as I could not adjust the bass or treble. In concept, this is a cool item and looks good (other than the red wires that connect the speakers to the main unit), but the main unit felt cheap and actually is since the buttons didn't work. The included instruction manual is pretty much useless; you're better off Googling an online version which is more in-depth. For what it's worth, the online user manual did not mention my issue in the Troubleshooting section. I really wanted to like this little stereo, but it's just cheaply made junk that didn't work.

This is not going to shake the windows and get the cops to your house/apartment. What it does do well is good clean sound for a small bedroom, office or kid's/teens room. It's a Panasonic, so it's refined quality product from a respected Japanese company. Out of box it's easy to setup. Basically, plug it in and play.The pros: good clean sound, easy to operate and unlike others units, if you lose the remote, it still has full controls on the front including a BIG volume knob. Display is not overly bright either. If you are an FM radio listener, you will appreciate the typical high sensitivity/selective FM tuner Panasonic is known for. Even with the included wire antenna, I pull in distant stations and it's a standard connector so you can connect outdoor antennas if you're using it in a remote area. The Bluetooth audio is also superb. CD player: it plays CDs and CD-Rs/RWs just fine.Now the only downside is there is NO analog input of any kind: no AUX in, no phono- nothing nor is there a headphone jack. No digital in or out (optical or coaxial).The only way to listen to it is via the included speakers. If you want those features, gonna have to pony up for it's bigger brother which also has more power output and better speakers. That being said, for the price it does what it does very well and if you want a quality Panasonic product for about what it costs to go to the grocery store for 1 person, here's your stereo. Reminds me of the compact stereos of the late 80s that were sold at discount stores. This would be the low end model but again, it sounds decent and gives most people the sources they want: Bluetooth audio, CD and FM stereo radio.Everything is included in the package but you'll need a single AA battery to use the remote. The manual is sparse but easy to follow. Overall, a good basic low cost modern compact stereo from a reputable manufacturer.

I wasn't expecting much for the price (this unit was the same price as a second hand Yamaha system). I needn't have worried.The audio quality from this little system is fantastic. Nice deep bass, clear mid range and a crisp top end. The LCD display is easy to read, FM reception is clear with the included wire antenna, and the remote and functions are intuitive. Overall I was very impressed.The only change I made was to use heavier gauge speaker wires, and I re-used the speakers off the Yamaha system as they were heavier and gave a much fuller sound.All in all, very impressed with the CD system, especially for the money.

Muy buen equipo. Es compacto y superó mis expectativas. A pesar de su tamaño, las bocinas tienen una muy calidad y potencia de sonido. Incluso yo le agregué un par de bocinas que tenía y las soporta sin ningún problema, aumentando el área de sonido. Ampliamente recomendable por su costo beneficio.

Si eres de los que posee y conserva CDs y quieres reproducirlos sin necesidad de encender tu PC o consola, este es uno de los mejores aparatos para ello. Bien empaquetado y llegó en perfectas condiciones. Pequeño, elegante y con un sonido muy bueno. Buena presencia de bajos, medios y altos. El reproductor de CD es de buena calidad, ya que al pasar de una pista a otra mientras la música sigue no se corta como en otros (Daewoo o Philco). Vale la pena por el precio - lo agarré en 2300 pesos mexicanos -.
Good Sound System
Wasn't sure at first if this would be a good sound system, but it has actually a very good sound, very happy with this and reasonably priced.
I fixed speaker quality!
The speakers are ok but I plugged in the great speakers from my old unit and the sound is fantastic. The unit puts out much higher quality sound than their speakers deliver.
