I have purchased every book on Bolo that discusses the Fuji x100vi because this camera was quite an investment and I want to use it to its capacity (to the best of my ability, anyway. ) Who am I, that I would buy every book on a particular camera? I am NOT a photographer. I am someone who enjoys photography and I have decent eye for composition, but I have never taken a photography class in my life, nor have I ever owned a true dslr camera until now. This little flip book is perfect for when I'm out and about and totally forget what I'm supposed to be doing with different settings. Would it be helpful for a professional??? I doubt it, but why would a professional be looking for books on a camera anyway? This is small and sturdy and has everything you might need on the fly when trying to learn your camera. If you are new to the Fuji system or new to photography, this is a useful guide.

Sadly this book doesn't deliver. It is riddled with typos -- even the parts that could have been copied from the manual have errors. For example, page 16, #47 is labeled 'Shooting Mode' but it points at an autofocus setting. The "Typical Shooting Scenarios" are generic and not specific to the Fujifilm X100vi. For example, in the portrait section, it does not tell you to turn on Face/Eye detection, and it says to use a focal length of 50mm or greater (this is a fixed focal length camera, you can't do that).
Far too long for the book to reach me.
Basic, does what it says, but why over a month to teach me. In the meantime I had worked out as much as I needed to know.

Basic but moderately useful
The headline says it all. This guide is very basic but could be of use to a beginner or relative novice. There are tips for a number of shooting scenarios but for an even moderately experienced photographer this guide will, unfortunately, be of limited use.
