I do a lot of IT related activities, and it’s a pain sometimes carrying either multiple bricks, or ones that will either die on me, or not plug in properly. Often times some plug directly into the wall but are too heavy and will fall out, or if I’m in a hotel room won’t fit into the outlet in a lamp. This device pretty much solves all of those issues. The external normal power plug is great to allow me to plug it in almost anywhere. Some people might be put off by the size and weight of the device, but for the ability to charge so many Watts from it, it’s barely more weight than a larger MacBook Pro power brick. The WiFi capabilities of it i think are kinda gimmicky, but to each their own. I think it’s neat that it has a built in screen for me to be able to tell how much power is being drawn, and the clock feature is oddly enough kinda useful for me when traveling as it sits on the nightstand typically and acts as a very nice unobtrusive clock, You can even change the brightness, or have it snooze after a period of timeThe ability to do port prioritization is nice if you need to prefer one device over another, either automatically having it do the logic, or to designate a specific port. Also having 4 USB C ports, and 2 traditional USB ports is nice, and the navigation knob on the device is easy to use. This has quickly become my favorite charging brick, and even though it’s pretty heavy, it still tends to be my go to unless i really only need a single outlet quickly. Anker is a brand I’ve come to trust, for both the bricks as well as the cables, and this product just reinforces my opinion of them.UPDATE (5/19/2025): I've had this adapter for 4 months at this point and i just wanted to give a quick update. This charger is amazing! I've traveled to hotels, on a cruise ship, and all over with this power adapter and it's been rock solid. I absolutely love the display showing the individual draw on each port, it has allowed me to diagnose cable issues, and prioritize the charging of my many devices i use when traveling. In addition to travel, i also love to use this at home. It's nice being able to charge all my devices from a single location, freeing up space on my power strip. This is the #1 charger i use for almost everything, and if i ever find it on a good sale, i will likely try to pick up another for my workshop.

I love this Anker Prime charger! I've owned a lot of USB power blocks and larger multi-port chargers, and the Anker Prime is my absolute favorite! The build quality is excellent. The 250-watt total power output (across all ports) is more than enough to charge my devices as fast as they allow. The display and control (via the app) makes monitoring my devices while they're charging satisfies my inner nerd!

I have now purchased 4 of these chargers and gifted a few.It's pretty small with adequate cord length.There are plenty of ports for a bedside charger and as a mobile charger.When it's dumping out close to it's max power output, it gets a bit hot.I used the following right on top of the charger (after wiping down with an alcohol wipe):"Easycargo 2pcs 40mm Heatsink Kit 100mmx40mmx20mm + 3M8810 Thermal Conductive Adhesive Tape, Cooling Aluminium Heat Sink"

Not only is it nice to see how much wattage is used during charging per device, but it charges fast. Easy to use interface, nice feel for the dial, very well packaged in terms of branding and finishing touches with the app and website. (You do need to create an Anker account to do firmware updates via wifi.) Already had a firmware update 3 days into using it. It has a good weight to it. Looks clean on my white desk. Bonus on the clock and calendar! Would be nice if the power cord was 3 prong. It's pricey for a GAN charger, but it's actually on the lower end of the high end GAN chargers in terms of price. Charges laptops and tablets very quickly.

One and done even when travelling.

This is solid built and although it is marketed as desktop multi charger station, I find it compact enough to take on trips if you are travelling with family. Enough ports and power output to charge everyone's devices. Haven't taken on any trips yet but for my purpose/family this would be better option over taking multiple chargers, especially if you need wall outlet adapters.

Expensive, But Best-Built Charger I've Ever Seen!

My first impression was just the sheer weight of the package when it was delivered! It's built out of solid metal on all sides and feels like you could hammer nails with it! Does a great job of dissipating heat when running at full power, and should be nice and sturdy over the years.The control dial on the side has a solid feel to it as well as good tactile stops in both rotation and clicking. Ribbed surface resists fingerprints pretty well so you can handle it without making a mess.Maxes out the charging capacity of everything I've connected to it, and the ability of the app to set power levels and even schedules are great for maximizing the long term health of those batteries. The main ports being on the front makes things messier and would have been nicer to have some of them on the back, but it does make it easy to plug things in and out.AC power cord is heavy guage with a nice firm plug and a velcro strap for storage. There is a big inline ferrule on the device end, but the transformer is in the main charger so no big brick to worry about. Included a photo as that was one thing I felt missing when I first purchased it. It's a standard unpolarized two pin connector too, so if it ever wears out it can be replaced easily!While the weight is great when using this on your desk, it's a bit of a liability if you plan to travel with it. Unlike a lot of Anker products I've purchased in the past this does not come with a carrying case and is really intended to be set up and left in place.At first I thought the display was a little gimmicky, but it's been really handy for getting to know the charging patterns of my devices. The clock screensaver is also a useful addition as simple as it is.It is very expensive even for this power level, but for that premium you get a solid piece of equipment that will last for many years. Charger standards will likely obsolete this unit looong before it ever begins to wear out. If you value longevity this is worth every penny!

Good charger but requires login

The charging station arrived promptly and without issue, and the physical device seems high quality and it will do what it is expected to do, providing the necessary power for my devices. I am taking away one star, however, due to the requirement to create an account to access most features in the app. It should be possible to use the charging station without creating an Anker account, but most features in the app will not work without creating an account.Creating an account was cumbersome, because I did it from my computer and it did not require a password, just an email with a verification code. But the app requires a password to login, so I had to go through a password reset process to be able to do basic configuration of the new device, such as upgrading the firmware.I'm a big fan of Anker products, but this is the first charger that has required me to create an account and login, which should be optional, not obligatory to set up the device and perform basic functions such as upgrading the firmware.
