I bought my older granddaughter a Aston-Drake doll for Christmas last year, and she has THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. Unfortunately, to get that quality of doll is quite an investment (in the neighborhood of $150). My younger granddaughter just turned 4, and I was searching to find a comparable doll that would be a nicer quality of doll than is usually found in the stores, but not so expensive. This one met my hopes. I did wonder why a photo of the doll without the headscarf wasn't provided, so that's why the photos. Her ears are a little more protruding than expected, but it's not enough to discount the advantages that a quality baby doll that can stand up to the handling of a small child. Also, I got her on a Black Friday deal, so that made it really a good deal!

I bought this for a niece who turned 4. She absolutely loves her! When you open the beautiful box and uncover the cutest baby doll! She comes with a birth certificate. She looks and feels like a true newborn! The weight and actual size and the feel of the quality in this doll is a very good value! She also comes with baby accessories like a diaper, a pacifier, a cute bottle and a little blanket. Definitely will buy again

As an 80s baby myself this doll and set beats what we grew up with which was “baby alive.” …the skin texture, eyelashes, and the details on the fingernails were all as mentioned in the details of the design but nothing beats seeings and feeling the features in real life. On several different occasions we’ve had numerous people mistake the doll as a real life baby that my daughter wasn’t holding correctly or we looked to have left in the car. …so be cautious with leaving the doll behind in a vehicle. Lol
