Excellent product works great. Arrived on time. I've used this before and it's always accurate. It's easy to grip in your hand . Just press the button and it turns on, then press the same button and once you hear a beep it's done. It's that easy. I've never changed the battery on it since I got it and last time I had one in two years I changed the battery once. It might be a little bit pricey but it works without having to go to a doctor.

This hasn't worked from the second time I used it. The buttons are fiddly to use. Something is already not working inside, and I was very gentle with it. The directions say to be gentle, don't touch the sensor, don't drop, etc. It went on and on. I should have known from this that they are too fragile and may even be harmed in the post.

I bought this ear thermometer because it is faster than using an oral thermometer. I have always assumed that ear thermometers are less accurate than oral thermometers, and so I take my son’s temperature three times in a row and take the average.If you have never used an ear thermometer, you should know there is an additional cost to them: they require covers so that the sensor remains clean, and so that you are not carrying bacteria from one family member to another. In our family, our rule of thumb is don’t change the cover if only one person is using it for a few days in a row. We also put it away without a cover, so that the next person to use it knows to put a clean one on.This thermometer came nicely packaged with two AA batteries. The package says its expected service life is five years. It comes with 20 probe covers. The manual does not tell you where to buy new covers, but I have a Braun thermometer, and my Braun covers fit well.It has a lit display so you can use it in a dark room. I tested it against my current thermometer, and it read no more than half a degree off.My only dislike is its ergonomics. The power and the “trigger” buttons are on the ear probe side of the device, and act like a gun trigger. This is great if you are taking someone else’s temperature but is a little awkward if you are taking your own (especially because the “power on” button and the “take temperature button” are two sides of a tiny rocker trigger (see photo). I do not have large hands, and handling the trigger button is awkward for me. Those small hands also make taking my own temperature awkward.Finally, my only other complaint is that when you push the buttons, they sound clicky, not smooth, as though it is not well-built.

Perfect thermometer for any age. Easy to use. Good ergonomic design. Reading is visible in dark large numbers you can see! Seems accurate compared to others I’ve used. Was covered for reimbursement from FSA/HSA!

Ich hatte immer das Baby Fieberthermometer wo man rektal misst. So musste ich auch nachts immer mein Kind aufwecken damit ich messen kann.Mit diesem Thermometer funktioniert das auch ohne wecken!Die Aufstecker wo dabei sind verwende ich auch mehrmals, ich mach die gründlich sauber, nehme diesen aber wieder für die gleiche Person.Messen tut es auch gut 😊Man kann auch den Ton ausschalten, so macht es keinen pips.Vom display kann man auch super die themperatur ablesen. Nicht zu klein 👍🏻

Temperatura al instante
Estamos ante un dispositivo básico en cualquier casa. Como en otras cosas no nos damos cuenta de la diferencia hasta que los probamos.Hasta ahora usaba un clásico termómetro de mercurio cuando buscaba fiabilidad y uno digital cuando no necesitaba tanta precisión, soy saber si había o no fiebre. Pero estaba perdiéndome la unión de ambos mundos. Lo enciendes, se calienta y en cuestión de 3" de introducirlo en el canal auditivo, tienes la medida y no solo eso, sino que tienes la medida con los valores corregidos para bebes, niños y adultos. Te muestra en pantalla los 3 valores.En apariencia parece un teléfono, que cuelgas sobre una base blanca y en el hueco interior quedan los protectores de la sonda. Son como pequeñas coberturas cónicas que recubren el sensor para protegerlo de la entrada de suciedad. Son de un plástico muy fino, así que no os incomodará al usarlo.Tengo alguna duda sobre si una misma persona enferma y necesita tomarse la temperatura cada hora, si puede mantener el protector o tiene que cambiarlo cada día cada x usos.Tiene incluso luz por si hay que controlar la temperatura de un niño y queremos evitar despertarle. La pantalla tiene luz siempre, pero la luz de la que hablo está en la zona del sensor y tiene la función de localizar a oscuras el canal auditivo del niño y no tratar de tomarle la temperatura en un ojo.Se alimenta con 2 pilas AA, por lo que si tenéis baterías recargables en casa o pilas de un solo uso, no os dejará tirados cuando más lo necesitéis y al ser comunes no vais a tener ningún problema a este respecto.Os recomiendo comprar alguna caja de más de protectores para que si enfermáis vosotros o algún miembro de vuestra familia, no tengáis que preocuparos de buscar cuál era el que usaba el termómetro y pedirlo estando enfermos. Es solo una precaución.Como dije al principio creo que es una necesidad tener dispositivos así, ya que un termómetro hay que tener en casa siempre. Diferenciar un malestar de fiebre puede ayudarte a diferenciar causas y los márgenes de +/- 0.3°C si bien me gustaría que fueran de no más de 0.1 pero a partir de ciertos valores elevados puedo asumirlos.
