As we follow the character's journey beyond the mess they find themselves in, along a path of pain and dissolution, past the waves of bitterness and frustration, to a place where more than YOU exists, they have no choice but to face the truth. How else can this main character help her hurting Father and say goodbye to her Mother, atleast here on earth for a while? One of the many great privilege's of being a Christian, is that we will reunite with our loved ones, and with new bodies, not the aging and diseased one's we all have now. One wonders in the beginning of this story, why Victoria struggles so much with her career, or in this case, her calling. Why is she bitter and willing to let her husband suffer, and why would she let this obviously loving man go? How did she get so caught up in her misery that she could not take time to go visit her parents? The supporting characters in this movie do an amazing and realistic job helping to fill in the pieces of the puzzles we ask, as we share in this slice of a woman's life. These scenes play out in a slow but positive way. Be patient! The masks drop, the acts die and the sadness is truly exchanged by dancing!! The music here is good, the scenes rich in country life in Mississippi. John Schneider plays the loving and emotional Father, the Pastor straight to the point yet compassionate, the friends all loving and real. Vivica Fox has grown into this amazing actress with characters she portrays, full of life and joy, and a real treasure to behold! I love her! Ashley Bratcher and Jonathan Stoddard portraying husband and wife; bring a great example to the viewer of how a marriage can be reborn in such an amazing way: Reminding me of the movie Fireproof. If you liked or loved that movie, this one will surely please you. This movie has a great ending and yes, for me, there were tears of joy. Tears of joy at how I can relate to more parts of this story not mentioned, but just as vital to all point us as humans, back to a loving Father and a Savior; willing and able to handle our pain, discouragement and losses. I could relate as I have experienced so much of what this lady went through, and it represents the pain we carry each day, into a place of hope, that we are never alone or far, from our Saviors reach. I am always amazed that my Savior is always pointing me to our Father in heaven and my Father in heaven is always, through His Holy Spirit, pointing me to His Son, my Savior, Lord and Master, brother and friend, through stories like this. The encouragement I receive every time I see one of these truly well done movies, energizes and inspires me. There are two songs I really liked in this movie. I hope this review will encourage all who come here to give this movie a try and to keep supporting these Actors and Writers as they try all the more to reach a disillusioned and deceived world for Christ. The more I see people not caving in to pressure to deny the existence of God and fear, living their Faith out loud, the more energized I am to live my own Faith like that too.
