Having never taken this product until recently, I waited until the 2nd bottle for my review of it's effectiveness. It does have a relaxing, mellowing effect, improving both mood and sleep. Since it recommends taking it before a meal, I take it right before my evening meal, which makes me much more ready to sleep when nearing bedtime. On days with higher stimulus/stress, I would take one before lunch as well as one before supper. This proved to be a very effective strategy! However, if I tried that on non stressful days, it made me too tired. Otherwise easy to regulate and use according to your needs for the day ahead. At this point, I am still learning so can't speak to the ingredients. I remember the old Beatle song, Mellow Yellow. I don't think this is as potent as whatever they experienced! ๐
