Bought this for my almost 12 year old son and he loves it! It’s very fun and it functions well. The two barrels allows for a lot of ammo use so he loves that. Great value for the money! Took away one star because the instructions were not very clear on putting it together or for the batteries.

I was stoked to get this for my son. Was a little surprised at the small box it came in. It's because it comes all broken down, which makes sense. The one thing I wasn't ready for is it is plaaa-STIC. I must have been thinking back to my childhood when I thought you'd get more than that for this price. I think I was imagining that popular brand that shoots darts, but this is not as well built and the darts are much smaller.Right up front let's get the silencer out of the way. No orange ring, and it covers up the one that IS on the end of the barrel, but it doesn't stay on straight anyway so the darts hit it when they're firing.The grip/tripod is kinda cool, but I don't know how long it's going to last. I like how it's spring-loaded so the legs pop out of the grip when you push the button at the top.I can't tell if the scope actually magnifies anything, but it does make things a tiny bit smaller when you look through it backwards.Just in case you might plan on using the glasses for other activities, they are pretty flimsy. They'll give some eye protection, just not a lot.Some people will want to know this: when you switch from Off to On so you can fire the darts, it makes a constant mini-hand mixer whirring type of sound. Maybe it's supposed to be like an alarm?And the orange button on the right side is the clip release, in case you're like me and are inclined to try and just yank it out. Fortunately I figured out the button first =)Oh, one other thing: I needed reading glasses and a powerful magnifying glass to make out the instructions. They are tiny and blurry and I ended up just figuring most of it out on my own. When you open up the base of the grip to take out the wire and plug in the battery, be gentle with the wire so it doesn't disconnect from the gun, and be careful to plug the battery in the right way; I almost did it upside down, which would have bent the metal prongs.That's about it. Since my son and his friends are playing with this kind of gun lately I thought this would be exciting for him. He does like it and is getting more fun, and exercise, than going to the movie a few times, but I think that might be as long as it lasts. So I'm glad he is having the experience, but it won't get replaced when it gives up the ghost.Thank you for reading, I hope it's been helpful.
