The pen writes better than pens I have used previously. I found no leaking on my hands and no smearing of the ink. Good buy at a reasonable price.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really great kit for under $20! I am not a fountain pen expert but as a beginner this is an excellent starter pen. The contoured grip helps insure that my hand is in the right position. I'm using the ink it came with along with the medium nib and it is incredibly smooth after some warm up scribbles otherwise it will skip. Fair warning you do have to press harder when using ink cartridges or else it will skip but that could probably be solved with using a higher quality ink with a better flow. Design wise it is heavier than other fountain pens I've tried which I find awesome!Overall, great pen with an even better value.

I like everything about it EXCEPT the instructions for using the new type ink cartridge. In facet there are ZERO instructions with the item--you have to go on line to the seller who gives you a little video which is Absolutely Useless

Good solid pen. Good quality and easy to use. Comes with ink refills and as well as your standard empty ink cartridges to fill with different color ink to give you a color variety.

EDITED REVIEW: Is contacted by the seller who informed me there was some sort of production issue that resulted in some defective pens. They offered to send me a replacement, though not in the color I had wanted. Now that I've received the replacement I've come to change my review from 1 to 5 stars for both the excellent customer service and because the replacement pen writes beautifully.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've tried everything and this pen won't write. I tried ink cartridges. Nope. I tried an ink converter. Nope. I tried different types of paper in case it just didn't get along with that for some reason. Nope. I tried different brands of bottled ink in case that might be the problem. Nope. The ink just can't flow and behaves like a pen that has run out of ink (but there's definitely plenty because I just filled it!). Even pushing ink through until it drips from the nib doesn't help.This disheartens me because it feels good to hold and is attractive to look at, but that's all it's good for, apparently. This one will sadly go into the pen cup and never come out. Waste of money...

Nice pen but inconveniently, the top doesn’t stay on the back of pen when I’m writing. Pops off. Pretty sure it will get lost.
