I know I'm weird but I used to love rock-hard Bazooka Joe. Of course it's subjective but I like harder gum because it feels like you're really chomping into something instead of it just being really soft and squishy. To each their own, for sure.What's not subjective is how gross this version of Joe is initially. It breaks apart into tiny pieces at first before eventually coming back together. It's never not an awkward feeling.

So, there I am, sitting at my desk, waiting for a meeting. I figured it would be the perfect time to try these bazooka cubes, so I popped a few in my mouth and started chewing. Good flavor. Not quite what I remembered, but still good.Anyway, the meeting starts. About halfway through, my stomach went sideways, I started sweating, and my intestines screamed.Uh ohI quick stepped to the bathroom and unbuttoned my pants just in time for everything I've ever eaten to be ejected violently.No way that could have been the gum that fast, right? Fortunately, the perfect test subject was sitting on the other side of the officeLong story short, no more than 10 minutes later, my unsuspecting coworker was in the same position.Longer story shorter -- just buy the normal bazooka

Be prepared to chew for awhile,very hard before becoming chewable,if you are like me and need that sweet tooth after a meal filled,this isn’t the gum for you

I find these taste as good as the suger kind, the cubes are on the smaller size, so they're a nice treat for younger kids. I also like that it's softer then the originals that so tough to chew.

I was super excited to share a piece of my childhood nostalgia with my son through Bazooka Joe gum. Back in the day, every piece came wrapped in its own little comic adventure, making each chew a delightful surprise. Unfortunately, this modern version comes in one big bag with no individual comic wrappers. It's a bit of a letdown for both of us, as the magic of unwrapping a comic was half the fun.Despite the packaging change, the gum still packs that classic flavor we all remember. If you’re into reliving fond memories and don’t mind the updated twist, it’s still worth a try—but if you're all about that comic surprise, you might feel the difference too.
