I switched to this collagen for its affordability and effectiveness. I add a scoop to my hot tea every morning. It dissolves well, with no flavoring. It has helped with postpartum hair growth, and it supports my gut health as I deal with skin issues relating to my gut.

I read Marine Collagen is one of the best to take, but I honestly can't say if this works well or not because I haven't tried it enough consistently yet mainly because the taste is definitely fishy even though it says unflavored. I tried adding to water which was not good, and then the next time to a soup but I could still taste the weird fishy taste (I like fish too but this tastes weird to me). I'm going to try to blend into a smoothie and see if that helps but also am going to buy the chocolate one to see if that works for my taste preferences better.

I was so excited to use the product. It came without seal!! I couldn't get to use it. I just wasted money. It is expensive. So disappointed 😞

It is only half full. I have bought other brands and they actually fill them up. This is a waste of money for what it cost and only get half of it. I will never purchase this brand again. Do not waste your money.

While this collagen may be good, I was specifically looking for one that had type 2 in it. The Bolo description says that it does. Sadly, the container only says it has Types 1& 3. I contacted the company and their answer is below. To me, this is false advertising!“Thanks for reaching out. A while back we changed our fish supply to wild caught cod from Alaska. While we anticipate that this has type 2, since we do not have verification of this, we only list type 1 and 3 on the label.”Update - they corrected this after I complained to them.

Very disappointed how much is in the container? It’s almost empty it less than halfway I’m paying for a product they come with. Almost an empty bottle. Very disappointed. I hope it’s good.

For the reviews that notice an odor and a taste there is a certain odor and taste of this product but I’ve noticed this with other collagens that are not marine based. The taste isn’t bothersome to me. However, the amount of servings for the price I do not like. It’s not a lot of servings for an expensive price so I will be trying different brands. As for benefits I’ve been taking it daily for 2 weeks and really haven’t noticed changes.
