This is a brilliant idea. Many ropes would work. I did have trouble finding a long handle, with similar shape at the end. I found a heavy-duty cement hoe that was perfect, longer than normal. I may need to heat up the hoe portion to get it OFF! But something will work, then “Branches beware!!”By tying a branch, adding a spring tension, I can ensure that the final cutting will help it land away from my step ladder

Its a nice concept, but it really only works for small limbs. I lost part of the device after only having had it for a week. Something that is more brightly colored and that has the option to attach to the rest of the apparatus when not in use would be nice. If you're a tree guy always on the move, you're probably going to lose this thing. Otherwise its a nice concept.

This is a fantastic tool for hooking a rope over a branch, rafter, girder, whatever. It takes a bit of practice to get the balance of pushing and pulling the pole with one hand while keeping the right tension on the rope. It works great, but it’s not idiot proof. This is a big tool so it works best on an isolated branch to give the swinging bar room to open and close without interference. However it is really strong so I haven’t had any problems using it to shove foliage out of the way.

This is a quality tool made to take hard use and dish it out,The design is one of those “why didn't I think of that” kind and the electro plating is lije the all weather anodizing I grew up seeing in commercial equipment for outdoor use.Robust “not bending me” metal.Universal thread for fiberglass extension poles but no twist or locking mechanism.This is a home and commercial grade toolI have a lot of cutting and hurricane season is upon us so I am glad I got mine before they are gone.No more slinging a weighted bag on a rope for meIt is basically the main frame and the removable ripe connected part (lije a balancing bar)Buy this with the confidence that if it is not to tour liking, that it is returnable within 30 days of purchase but don’t be that user guy who buts it, uses it and returns it for a full refund. People like this harm the world yet complain about it when they unknowingly buy a used item from Bolo.Please help me help others by hitting that simple like button. I get no extra rewards except a number each month that tells me some learn from my experiences.Please cut safe and wear full PPE when cutting branches and trees.Soon detail photos will be uploaded

This is a rope positioning tool that will allow you to place a rope around a branch using an extension pole and a single action. Read the directions to understand the usage. When assembled, the center of the U is pushed around the branch. Because of that, the U is the max width of branch this will work with. Once the branch is in the U, you pull this back down. The rope is connected to the outer section of the bar, and the bar will flip over the branch when pulled down. This works great in practice and saves you from getting in a ladder or climbing out on a limb. Overall I am happy to have found this

海外の動画で見かけて気になり買ってみました。樹木伐採時に高所の枝へのロープ掛けに使ってみましたが、引き抜き時は少々コツが入りました。ですが作業速度は向上したと思います。それなりに大きいのですがそれでも通る枝の太さは10cm少々。幹に通したい場合、幹元の太枝には通せない可能性があります。1番の問題はポールの価格の高さ(この商品も大概ですが)。1.8m×3本(ベースポール1本、延長2本)＋0.9m延長1本とこちらの商品を揃えるだけで7万以上掛かりました。ホームセンターなどで伸縮ポールなどを買って加工して付ける方が安上がりではあります。ですが、鉄製でそこそこ重いので頑丈なものが必要です。ちなみに買うなら黄色のポールが適合します。ポールのセットを買うならベースポールと言うものが入っているか確認を。長物故、現状航空送料が商品代並みに掛かるのでBolo含む日本の取り扱いショップで買ってもそれほど割高にはならないと思います。

Well made. Worked well on testing. Haven't used it on a job yet. Showed it to a couple others in the tree business and they want one also.Can be used vertical , horizontal or downwards. Not just for reaching around tree branches. Will fit around anything 4" / 10cm or less
