Why did you pick this product vs others?:This shirt surprised me. I packed it for a trip an extended trip to Europe and I'm embarrassed to say how much I wore it. It's comfortable and fits well, wicks moisture, it didn't stink, and it was easy to clean.Looking back, I could have packed a lot less because this shirt did so much. For warm days with lots of walking or giong to the beach, this shirt was my go to.I will be buying more of these shirts.

I just purchased my 5th Northyard “Men's Athletic Running T-Shirts Quick Dry Workout Shirts Short-Sleeve Sports Gym Tee Tops Performance Activewear”. I've never tried their other styles.Getting my 5th shirt means I obviously like it. It does what I need … provide sun protection while playing tennis, hiking and fishing - nearly every day, a few hours a day - in intense Florida sun. If you heavily sweat, like while playing tennis, all “athletic” moisture absorbing shirts eventually become wet sponges and cling to your skin. Clinging on portly bodies is not attractive - so I wear a sized down moisture wicking undershirt (from Duluth Trading) underneath my Northyard shirts.These shirts aren't perfect. The fit is consistent but they run large and long. My dad-bod runs large too (6’3 240#) and the 2XL provides nice length but is very roomy. The neck opening is comically large almost like a scoop neck. Between the large neck and running large - the shirt can be a little cavernous and drapey. If you dont need the extra room, are thin or look good in form fitting clothing - I’d size down. The pink is more like a neon-pink, a safety shirt pink. I’m keeping it though. I wash all my performance clothes in gentle cycle and drip dry - they are keeping their form and elasticity. When on the road I hand wash in the sink, ring them out and drip dry.EDIT 7/10/2025 - I now own 8! - photo attached
