The media could not be loaded. I bought this blanket because my sister has had hers for years and has had nothing but great things to say about it. I had some other brand of heated blanket that stopped working on me earlier this week and she recommended this blanket to me. Unfortunately I’m not too impressed so far. I was excited to get this and use it because I have a hard time staying warm when it’s gets cold out. I just got it yesterday night ( I’ve literally had it for 24 hours at this point out of the box) and just plugged it in for the FIRST TIME, and the controller for the blanket keeps flashing. I’ve tried pushing the on button several times as well as the heat settings with no luck. I’ve unplugged it, plugged it back in, checked the blanket, all the connections, everything looks fine. I’ve googled everything at this point with everything pointing to the controller being defective. Which is funny because it has a quality control PASS sticker on it. I’m unfortunately quite disappointed and sad that it doesn’t even work. I debated buying a replacement until I can get an answer on the claim I just submitted for this I don’t think I really want to deal with another junk blanket I can’t even enjoy. Really unfortunate considering my sisters has lasted for years… find something else because this blanket is not worth the price.

I was hesitant to order this blanket because of some of the reviews, but I loved the style and color in comparison to other Bolo options so I thought I'd give it a try. To give a little background, I am a Texan, born and raised, who recently moved to WA state. I was clearly not prepared for the weather difference, and constantly find myself freezing cold even with my heater blasting. I WAS NOT MADE TO FUNCTiON IN THESE CONDITIONS. No need to fret though y'all there's a happy ending to this story. I ordered this blanket about a week ago and I am totally and undeniably IN LOVE with this thing. It is soft and keeps me incredibly warm. Some have complained about being able to feel the wires. Yes, I can feel them. Does it make me horribly uncomfortable? Absolutely not. I'm so warm and cozy, I couldn't care less. There is even heat throughout the blanket, the controls work well, and there is a very distinct difference between all three heat settings (but I prefer high because if you didn't get it already, I do not like being cold!). I haven't had to use my heater at all since I got this blanket, so I'm assuming my electricity bill is going to decrease quite a bit as well. As for size, it does run a bit small, but it covers my whole body so I have zero complaints. Overall, I haven't had any problems, and plan on updating the review in another couple of months just for follow up. This blanket has been a dream come true and has helped this Texan gal to thaw out during a very cold PNW winter.

Love the leopard print and the blanket gets very warm. There are 3 heat settings and it turns off automatically if you forget to turn it off.

I like this blanket and will keep it, but I’m not in love. You can definitely feel the wires but it is also soft and the pattern on this one is a good neutral. The high setting is too hot and it seems making the blanket thicker so you can’t feel the wires would make more sense. The size is great and I washed it when it arrived following instructions and it literally dried in five minutes as suggested.

Worked great for awhile. Bought almost a year ago but only used through the winter. When brought it out this year all three lights on the power unit blink at once. I have tried the recommended trouble shooting so no avail. Emailed customer service and am hoping for a response!

I looooooove this blanket! It's not very thick, but because it is heated, it doesn't need to be. It is very soft and comfortable, and it is longer than a lot of heated throws.This blanket has three settings, although I believe the high setting would be a bit too much. I have Fibromyalgia, which is aggravated when I'm cold. Medium is great for colder days, but the low setting works well for "everyday" use. It automatically turns off after about half an hour, which is great in case you forget to turn it off yourself.I would definitely recommend this blanket if you are chronically cold or want something extra to take the chill off during the cold weather months. Yes, as noted in other reviews, you can feel that the wires are in the blanket when you cover yourself, although I usually forget about them after a while. If you're just looking for a regular throw blanket, you might be happier with a thicker non-heated throw to avoid the wires.

Size of blanket is nice, however heating part is probably 3.5'x4'. The control also isnt very conveniently located, cord needs to longer from where it plugs in on the blanket to the controller.

Does not work in Australia
I bought this electric blanket in February 2023, as this was summer time, i only opened it today August 2023, and to my surprise the plug does not fit into my socket, as it is for America and is only 120 volt and Australia is 240 volts.
Stops working after 1 month - read other reviews
I should have researched the many other reviews posted about this blanket. It worked great for a very short period of time. About 2 weeks after the return period ended the blanket stopped heating. The controller would blink constantly. It had never been washed or used for anything other than a blanket. Beautyrest won’t stand behind the warranty as it was purchased on Bolo. Avoid this product.
