bought this for my grandpa because it was a good price. the voice quality isnt too good. its very light weight.can change brightness levels on it. it was some what difficult to read on it for a elderly person. so if you are looking for a phone for a elderly person look elsewhere. its a good phone overall functions great

If you are looking for affordability and feature rich, this vtech meets the qualifications. It came on time and worked right out of the box. Everything was neatly packaged, and assembly was simple--install the battery, and attach the cover. I bought it to use as a business phone. It is stylish with features like microphone mode and lighted number pad. Great buy!

Huge amounts of feedback trying to record the greeting made it nearly impossible to understand. With enough standing at various distances and orientations I finally managed to get something that was (barely) acceptable. The symbols on the play button are molded in but not painted which makes them very hard to read - both other people in my household had to ask me where the play button was. The cord connecting the base unit to the wall is integral which means that when your cat bites through it you can't simply replace it with one of the dozen other cords you've got sitting around collecting dust. I tried splicing it back together with no luck so I opened up the unit and discovered that the wires on the inside are completely insulated and can freely contact each other - no wonder it has so many problems.

Su funcionamiento es sencillo, con botones bien distribuidos y un menú intuitivo. La batería suele tener una autonomía decente, aunque conviene cargarla completamente al inicio. En resumen, es un teléfono confiable, accesible y bien diseñado, perfecto para uso doméstico, especialmente si se necesita facilidad de lectura. ¡Recomendado!

The phone itself is nice but the seller shipped it from the US to SA with an adaptor for 110 voltage which is not the standard in Saudi Arabia where 220 voltage is the commonly used voltage. The upsetting part is that; there is no information about it in the description, so I assumed if this item is placed in an international marketing, the seller should be aware of this aspect. I had to buy separately an adaptor for 6v-48w-220v power supply and spend extra money on this. I hated this experience.
