Berberine is known as an effective supplement to help lower blood sugar, increase weight loss and improve heart health. This is for people trying to maintain their blood sugar levels. You should still consult your doctor for general guidance or if you have another prescription medicines that you're taking.It has 550 mg dose of berberine and claimed to have NSF certification. This means that this product is proven to be safe and sanitary. As with most supplements, this is not FDA approved and is not meant to be taken as a medicine or an official treatment to any illness. I'll take off one star as I think it's a little pricey than comparable products in the market.
