I forgot what I ordered and was really startled when I first opened up the package. It was sealed in plastic and wrapped in more plastic, but I could see through to the bottle. The ginseng root looks like a mandrake preserved for a science experiment. I still find it rather unnerving to look at. The bottle looks kind of cheap to me but is attempting to look attractive - or unique anyway - especially with the collar around the pump to prevent accidental pumping. It has a masculine scent, but it doesn't really linger. It feels a bit watered down at first, but it lathers better on the second wash. It rinses out fine. I didn't notice an obvious difference after the first use. It's pricey ($25), so I'm definitely hoping it helps with hair loss/growth to justify the price.

My husband has a problem with hair growth. This makes his hair grow and maintains hair against hair loss. He has received compliments that his hair looks fuller from several people. Pleasant very mild fragrance. Very pleasing. And we were so excited to see the actual ginseng root in the bottle. We highly recommend this product.

This shampoo doesn't have that strong added fragrance kind of scent, but instead, it has a very natural earthy scent. I really like that they didn't add artificial fragrance to cover up the ginseng scent. The bottle is very aesthetic looking with the ginseng root showing through the bottle and the gold color and packaging give this product a very premium feel. Ginseng is highly prized in Asian countries due to its health benefits. I am glad to see that this shampoo uses a natural ingredient, such as ginseng, to help prevent hair loss. As to its efficacy in terms of helping with reducing hair loss, I think I will need to use this shampoo longer to see if there are any improvements. There is actually a research paper by the National Institutes of Health that comes up on Google when I search "ginseng shampoo benefits" and it mentions hair growth potential of ginseng and preventing hair loss. I have high hopes that this shampoo will work but only time can tell. :) As of right now, the immediate difference that I notice is that this shampoo lathers up really well and leaves my hair feeling clean but not dried out. I find it surprising that it actually leaves my hair feeling smoother and silkier than the normal shampoo that I usually use!

This is a pretty nice shampoo. I am nooot the biggest fan of the smell but the shampoo has a nice lather. The shampoo also makes my hair feel sooo soft and shiny. I really like this shampoo. If we could tone down the smell, that would make this perrrrfect.

This ginseng blossom shampoo from Daeng Gi Meo Ri has a full ginseng root inside of the bottle which is my first time seeing such a thing. It makes sense to me as the ginseng will leech into the shampoo over time and mix together and it looks aesthetically pleasing.The smell of this shampoo is super earthy. It smells like ginseng and earth but pleasantly and it's a very natural smell. The ingredients are made to cleanse hair deeply and are known to be very beneficial and safe for the body. :) I found my first use of this shampoo stripped a bunch of junk out of my hair as I had buildup.I was left with super soft shiny hair that had a ton of volume even after using my conditioner. I have very fine hair that becomes flat so I'm incredibly impressed with how this makes my hair look like silk. It's bouncy and yet it has plenty of shine. This is incredible as far as shampoo goes because my hair rarely looks this clean except for a salon service. I will be reordering this right away and am interested in the conditioner now.If you have hair with a lot of buildup or very flat hair that has a weird coating, this is amazing and affordable.

My hair has roots, but I've never seen a root in a shampoo before. There is a legit ginseng root in the bottle. Wild!The shampoo has an earthy, gingery smell - which is what I thing ginseng smells like (hey, I'm not a horticulturalist... ). The first time I used it, I needed 2 rounds to get my hair feeling really clean - and it had an odd texture. Not bad, just that it felt very much like it was stripping a lot of goo from my hair. Since I don't think of my hair as gooey, that was odd. But the second time I used it (many different shampoos and one round of professional hair dye later) - it lathered up and rinsed out fine.And now, after a use and my normal conditioner - my hair feels light, soft and clean - so it's great. Extra style points for having a doodad that keeps the pump from pumping while traveling, in the shape of a neat little pattern.
