The R3b scooter is well-designed and engineered for exactly these purposes. It is on the small side for a scooter, but that is out of necessity to meet the travel objectives. Folding it up is simple (pull one lever and loosen one knob), and it easily fit in the back of our CR-V (it would basically fit in all but the tiniest of sedan trunks as well). At ~45 lbs without battery, it was easy for me to handle. For air travel, I checked with a few airlines, the size and the battery capacity both meet their standards.Now.... it has a decently tight turning radius due to the shorter front width (left wheel to right wheel) than rear. If you need the ultimate in stability, you might want to check out one of the other ZiiLIF models.My experience with ZiiRobot's customer service was nothing short of excellent.

Mobility scooter is great. The battery last a long time! I went from an auto fold mobility scooter to this one and love it. I am very pleased with my scooter but my only thing I wish it had an adjustable seat height. I feel like I am sitting down too low due to my disability with multiple sclerosis. It is not bad but due to me having leg spasms the height of the seat I think would help me. Can’t go wrong with it. I took it on a trip to New Orleans and was very happy with the battery life!

I love this scooter. It folds easily. It's light enough to lift. It has lots of pep. And the customer service is fantastic!!

This is a great little scooter. I purchased specifically for the light weight. At 42 pounds my daughter and I can easily lift it into our suv. Many must be taken apart and even then the pieces were still very heavy. Also the battery is small making it easy to remove and put in my carryon for flights. Con: it does not do well in grass or rough terrain. But I mostly just need it for smooth surfaces! Battery holds charge and lasts for a long time! Also small enough for cruise ships without having to get a handicapped cabin.

I waited several months before writing this review. I wanted to be sure I had given it a good long test, before saying whether it was good or not.Well, it's great!! I use it to tool around my neighborhood, to walk my dog, and even when I go to the AMC24 to see a movie. (I always wind up in a theater that is all the way to the back of the building, and just can't walk that far without being in grad pain.) It has elevated my quality of life by allowing me to get around just about anywhere.Does great on the street, on cement, on tile, on asphalt, no problem.If I had to complain, I would say the handle could stand to be just a bit sturdier, but that's the only negative I have. Oh, and I wish it came with a basket on the front.

We bought this scooter for my husband in Nov 2024. He is mobile, but limited to short distances and walks very slow. We had looked at other scooters but they were to heavy for me to lift (even after taking it apart) into the back of our SUV. We came across this foldable scooter...and boy was it a game changer!! It is really easy to fold. No taking apart and having to put back together. I can easily lift it into the back of my SUV. It weighs less than my check-in luggage.I do recommend you purchase an extra battery. It fits easily in the basket underneath the seat. I also recommend you purchase the battery carrier. It is especially made for Lithium batteries so it is fireproof. Airlines require it.Previously we were limited on where we traveled because my husband's limited mobility. Since we purchased the scooter, we flew to Las Vegas. My husband was able to drive it all the way to boarding. The airlines took it from him and had it waiting for him when we landed. No problems at all. I was really happy that we did not have to check it in with luggage. I could not get the protective cover on for the life of me.I had a few questions after I received the scooter and I received a quick response. Great customer service!We've also taken it on a cruise. We got a last minute deal on the cruise so they did not have any more accessible rooms available. The good news is that the scooter is slim enough to fit through the doorway of the cabin.

I’ve had the battery charging for two days. It has not charged anything so I reconnected it back to the scooter and see if it would charge that way. It won’t take a charge. The battery cells evidently are dead. I would just like a working battery I want to keep the scooter.
