When it arrived, it smelled something awful ! I washed it per instructions,which took most of the smell away but now it is wrinkled up. I have mobility problems and do not intend to iron it, which might soften it up. It is not a cozy blanket. It is light weight for summer, but not soft. I will be on the lookout for something different

When I first unwrapped the blanket it felt rough and I didnt like the feel of it. But after I washed and dried it felt a little better. After a few night of sleeping under it I found it comfortable. I was warm but not hot.

When I went shopping for a soft cotton blanket days before Christmas, there was low stock overall. Some brands I've bought before were not available. I preferred organic, but I fell in love with the sage color from Salt Earth, and it was GOTS certified. It was in-stock with fast Prime shipping.This blanket is like a dream. It is so soft. It is very warm but it is light and manageable. I've had no problem laundering it in a studio-sized frontload washer, and in a full size machine that has an agitator. It dries quickly in one cycle. This is important to me, because I have a cat, and like to launder all our fabrics every week or 10 days.I bought a second one within a month. The gray is also a beautiful color. I did not measure it, I think the queen size that I bought originally might be oversized, which is nice, and I think the king might be a little bit undersized. I'm perfectly okay with that.Definitely recommend and will buy again. Love these blankets.

Before I even unfolded the blanket completely I noticed a break in the weave which could have unraveled the whole thing. Sent it back and ordered another. I didn't even start to unfold it because the same thing was immediately apparent. I will look elsewhere for a blanket.
