Even better than I imagined! Texture and taste are great! There is not a bitterness like sourdough bread, but it is different than regular pasta. Delicious! I've already ordered more! It really soaks up the flavor of the sauce!

I'm trying to reduce carbs and Sour Dough is recommended for anti-inflammatory properties (I have arthritis ALL OVER!) so I bought both this and some whole wheat pasta, both at Whole Foods. I can tolerate the whole wheat (the ONLY brand I can is from WF) but I actually enjoyed this sour dough product. I had no expectation whatsoever and was pleasantly surprised. Texture is authentic and flavor was good.

I was quite disappointed. I LOVE their Whole Wheat Spaghetti. I was hoping this would be tasty.I cooked it the same way I cook the whole wheat and it was a complete failure. I cook it in a microwave container specifically for spaghetti with minimal water (I've seen this technique on the Food Channel and it's work for years with the Whole Wheat. It wasn't cooked enough, so I gave it another 2 minutes, which would have been fine with the whole wheat. This was just starchy slop. Just gross. I tried to eat it, but eventually just tossed it in the garbage. I think the problems were: 1) not enough water and 2) overcooking. It didn't take much to over cook it. And the starchy slop was because there wasn't enough water. I think it might have been better if I'd cooked it in a large pot and kept checking for doneness.Give it a try. Just because I failed doesn't mean you can't try it. You might love it.
