I've been using these for years for my ball python in her bioactive set-up. I needed a reliable heat source that didn't emit light and these seem to have a very long life-span.

These worked good for an extra source of heat. However they do get very hot so use caution where you put them and make sure the fixtures used it meant for them. Also watch the cord getting close to the fixture. Over all good quality great for the price.

This products works great. I used a lamp for a long time not thinking this would heat enough. While it is less than a light, it’s so even and actually down not over heat the tank really ever. I had lasted over 2 months now with heavy misting of tank, which is usually the reason my bulbs fail. I recommend for anyone looking for a good heat source that doesn’t need light.

Our house is very old, which means, there is no insulation. It gets pretty chilly in the winter; These ceramic bulbs are excellent for keeping our beardie warmish while sleeping. Highly recommend
