(Yay! Not!!) Blood samples are taken from his ears and though he does really well with all the poking, I wanted to do what I could to minimize any discomfort.These lancets are TINY (short) and extremely thin which makes them perfect for us. I am so glad I found them!

They're lancets. They are ever-so-slightly thinner (the enclosing plastic) so they slide in/out of the lansing device a bit easier than the Microlet lancets. Also, the 33 gauge needles are much more comfortable than the 30 gauge needles.

Needles are thin making them less painful. The colors are fun. Very easy to use. The length of the needles are a bit short. You have to make adjustments when inserting them into the device to make it long enough to penetrate your fingers.

I know, I know - reviewing lancets? Really? But I just have to say I love these so much more than the ones my insurance covers, that I just go ahead and pay for these out of pocket. Why? First, I am a "bleeder", meaning the smaller needle size gives me just the right amount of blood for test strips. Second, the colors are nice and bright, making it easy to find when I accidentally drop one one the floor. Third, they drop on the floor thanks to my carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis in my dominant hand, and these are easier to insert and remove than the ones I would get from my insurance.

Recently purchased and used these, it was a pleasant experience. They fit my device (round end type), were sharp and worked well. High-quality. I will purchase them again. Much, much, less expensive than the One Touch Delica Plus I had been using previously.

These lancets work great at testing my diabetic cats' glucose level and the 33 gauge seems to work best. The price is reasonable, too.
