Don’t know why Kitchen Aid send out the aluminum versions if three attachments as they oxidize and make what you are endeavoring to make black. These replacements were great.

My 20 year old mixer paddle attachment started chipping. This was the perfect replacement! The quality is great, it works perfectly, it was a great price, is the exact same design as the original, and seems to be just as durable as the original. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

After looking around and even visiting Kitchenaid's official website, I decided to just take the plunge and buy an "off brand" replacement. So glad I did, it's perfect in every way! Nice and heavy, fits my 4.5 quart perfectly, easy on and off the mixer, and toss into the dishwasher to clean. Couldn't be easier.
