Mix some of the compost in with the soil where I’ve been having difficulty getting grass seed to start. Now the grass seeds growing like crazy and I get free fertilizer for my yard and plants.

This unit seem to be working as advertised I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks so yet to get a full basket. There does seem to be an odor when the led is open though

We’ve had ours for most of a year now, with no issues. We’re reasonably careful about the size of things we put in, and we turn on the ‘dry’ setting if it gets too wet, to help take pressure off the motors.It turns food scraps into ‘compost’ really well - it’s kind of astonishing how quickly it processes things.We haven’t found ours to be smelly - or if it starts heading in that direction, we use the purify function which seems to handle it fine.If I lost this one or it broke, I’d get this one again. For me, that’s a good sign that I’m pleased with the item.

I have been researching electric composters for a while, so I was super excited when I finally purchased the Reencle! I went through all of the good and bad reviews and decided it was worth a shot because I absolutely hate throwing away food, especially leftovers that can't be put into a traditional compost bin that we already have.In the beginning, it was GREAT! It was super easy to set up, you just plug it in and add the starter pack with water. I could put anything in it, and watched it turn into compost without any smells or mold. I made sure all the food was rinsed first before putting it into the bin and everything was cut up into pieces just as instructed in the manual. It never had a smell, the seal was great, and it held a lot of food!After 3 weeks of use, it started making a strange grinding noise. So I did all of the trouble shooting that was recommended. I added water to it to make sure the stirring bin wasn't too dry, I emptied out the bin to make sure nothing was wrapped around the stirring rods, I cleaned the filter thoroughly. But NOTHING made the noise go away. So I figured why not try to dry out the bin and maybe that's what the problem was because it was too thick (even though it was below the max line). Well, sure enough, the "purify" light started blinking red, and per the manual, that means there's something wrong with the fan and I needed to contact customer support.Considering this machine only comes with a 1 year warranty, and I'm already having problems after 3 weeks, I decided to return it to Bolo within the 30 day window. Because even if it gets fixed, it will probably eventually break again since it's constantly running and trying to break down food. I was so disappointed and sad! Now I'm back to square one looking for another electric composter that will actually help me decrease waste.

I am giving this a four, only because I feel there is a bit of a learning curve I couldn’t find answers to online, or in any of the paperwork attached.Biggest question, do I like it. Yes we have had ours for a couple of months ago, long enough to run it through a cycle.What I did not realize is that the compost can’t be directly applied to my garden or planters until it is mixed - one part compost, 3 parts dirt and rotate to get it all to mix for three weeks before actually adding to my garden.I live in a house on a 1/4 acre lot, where that’s possibly. I ended up buying an old fashion rotating compost drum, and using that outside by our garden. The good thing about already being composted is there is no smell to the compost drum. But it does mean I buy top soil, or garden soil to mix with the compost. Did not plan on that.

A little to early to tell. But after a few weeks, it's performed as it promised. I love the fact that it's so quiet and that it's a true composting machine instead or a dehydrator machine The microbial pack is what sold it for me since it will assist in the decomposition of meats, cheese and other organic materials. This is the main selling point. And so far, it's been working great. I recently had an unused batch of homemade dog food that I had to dispose of and added it into the machine. 24 hours later, it's gone. Wow! Fibrous items like onion skins, and citrus rinds may take a while longer to decompose. But this machine is still worth the price for reducing waste that would normally go into the trash can.
