It is actually even better!I have very thin, fine hair. I’m post menopausal . Most products leave my hair stringy, flat and greasy so I’ve gone years just using shampoo to purposefully have dry hair because it has more volume that way. Once a year, on vacation I will buy a shampoo bar for travel. This time, I bought this little sample pack, thinking all I needed was a small bar for a short trip. I used the rice shampoo and loved it right away. Surprise was there was no heavy gunk left behind. It just felt clean and looked shiny. Next, I tried the coconut conditioner. It has a very strong scent, but didn’t weigh my hair down either. Using both rice protein shampoo and conditioner left my hair bouncy, clean shiney and not flat and stringy! It is great. I think the size is perfect for a sample. One bar lasted more than a week.I would like to warn people who are scent sensitive or who live in a bug dense area (like me), these bars are scented, some quite heavily.

I've been experimenting with different bar shampoos and conditioners to make air travel easier. I picked up a sampler set to test the size of the bars and give myself a variety of options. Since it's summer where I live, I decided to try the rice water protein first, and the results were fantastic! I have wavy, slightly frizzy hair, and this bar lathered more than others I've tried, applying smoothly and easily. It felt great during the wash, and I didn't miss using liquid shampoo at all. The scent was perfect—light and not overpowering. The conditioner worked just as well, leaving my hair feeling soft without any greasy residue. Overall, this is definitely one of my top picks and something I'll definitely use again!

These are very small, even smaller than I had anticipated, but after three weeks of daily use I still have about 1/2 of each shampoo left. The conditioner bars are a different story. They are much softer and don’t hold up nearly as well, so I probably have three or four days of use left with them. I LOVE the smell, no issues with lathering, the product seems to work really well.I didn’t like the way the rice water shampoo left my hair, but that’s compatibility, not a product issue. My hair is straight and long, fine hair but a there’s lot of it. I know I mentioned it already, but the smell is just amazing. I ordered two full-size bars based on my trial, I’m hoping that a large conditioning bar holds up better.

Initially, I liked how clean my hair felt. And I enjoyed the smells. The conditioning was okay at first. But after using them for a few weeks, but my hair became dry and frizy at the ends and started flaking at the scalp, which it has never done before! I'm going back to something that works better for me.UPDATE: Upgrading my stars to 3: when I reviewed the product of the sampler of shampoo and conditioner bars, I indicated it was very drying for my hair and scalp, however they responded to me with apologies and an offer of a full refund. I declined the refund because I know they spent money on making the product and I feel it might work for others. I'm not sure if the good customer service is from just the seller, or the maker of the product or if those are one and the same. But rest assured, if things stay the same, it is worth trying the product, who knows where the dryness came from? It could be hormonal or seasonal or something. I wouldn't hesitate to try the sampler because it is refundable.

I am new to bar shampoo/conditioner and wanted to try out a sample to see how it works with my oily hair. I will say it is expensive for the size of the product. However, I have gotten quite a few washes from my hair, and the shampoo looks the same size. The smell is very refreshing when using it, but I don't smell it once my hair is dried (that could be a me issue). Each cube is 1 inch x 1 inch and wrapped in a recyclable paper, which I love (whoo hoo, eco-friendly). I am not sure how recyclable the actual packaging is due to the shiny film on it. For me, I don't care about the aesthetics of a product, as long as it works and is eco-friendly. I feel like the company could do that a bit more since they do talk about being eco-friendly. Overall, I am excited to test it out more and then buy a full-size product of the one I like the most!

I usually go by the reviews and when I saw all great reviews I thought that's it the owner or somebody who knows them put it there but I took a chance cuz I dye my hair a lot and my scalp has been itching me like crazy as you get older it is true your hair does get thin from all the processing I definitely recommend it it is really great your hair does feel nice and thicker when you dry it and it doesn't feel dried out and it is very sudsy honestly the rice one is the best one I would say the color treated hair

I've used the rice water shampoo and conditioner for about a month now and I still have half of each bar left. The downside is the lather on the shampoo bar isn't my favorite but if I shampoo it a second time, my hair still feels the same clean as if I was using regular shampoo. My hair hasn't been as oily so that is an added benefit. This is a great product if you are just getting into solid bar shampoo and conditioner, it helps trial out what works for your hair (I have straight/wavy, colored hair for reference). Would also be great for travel. I was also worried about if I would get the bars confused, but you can tell which is which by the feel.

I'm glad I started with this sample pack. The Kitsch bars are a little pricey, so it's not great to spend the money for something that doesn't work. I like the rice water for regular use, the coconut oil for deep conditioning, and the biotin (for highlights). The biotin one wasn't in the sample pack. Without trying these samples, I would not have spent the money on the full size products. Now, Kitsch shampoo and condition is all I use. I do feel the rice water blend helps grow hair. I have been using this for about 6 months now.
Price too much for the size

I've noticed less hair loss while shampooing.
I gave it a four because I haven't used it long enough. I find so far that my hair doesn't fall out as much as with regular shampoo. However, I'm not convinced that my hair is more shiny. Will update again if that should change.
