5.0 out of 5 stars Love it! I've purchased 5 Since March
After a good amount of research and comparing products, I purchased two Air Oasis iAdapt Air 2.0 (a large and a medium). I also listened to an episode of IEP Radio where the podcast host, Michael Schrantz, interviewed the owners of Air Oasis. In the interview they explained the technology and why it was different from their competitors. I felt like they stated facts and didn't try to overstate the benefits - like many products out there. We just had remediation on a wall in our basement due to a door leak on the first floor. So, I am looking at this not only from an air quality perspective, but also helping with mold spores/mycotoxins.I have a medium for my bedroom and a large for my open floor plan living room/kitchen area. I ended up purchasing another large for the basement, a medium for my son's bedroom with a loft and a small unit for my daughter's room. After a couple of days of using the one in my bedroom, I felt like I was able to breathe so much easier through my nose (I didn't realized I was congested before) and my nighttime headaches that required Advil nightly are a thing of the past. My daughter with special needs has severe sleep issues and she started sleeping through the night once we started using one in her room.Info about the unit: It's very quiet on the first speed, modern looking and it's solid (it's larger and heavier than I expected). I prefer white noise when I sleep, so I use it on level 2 or 3.On "auto" the fan speed adjusts based on the air quality in your space. You can control the unit with wifi and even set it to turn on and off on a set schedule. Or you can remove the wifi chip and operate it manually if you are concerned about EMF's.I have purchased a total of 5 units in the last 5 months and love them. (2 medium, 2 large and a small). I plan to purchase another small for my daughter's classroom in the next few weeks.Oh, and customer service is great and quick when I had questions.
5.0 out of 5 stars The best
We had mold in our home prior and have a need to replace the windows in our master bedroom. After remediation of our biggest area in the basement, we didn't have funds left to do all the windows. We installed the IAdapt Air 2.0 in our bedroom while we await the ability to replace the windows. It has made a huge difference and I sleep so much better. I also don't note any new growth after thoroughly cleaning the windows, using concrobium and new varnish.
4.0 out of 5 stars Crisp clean air
Super quiet, cannot get wifi to connect. But its ok.
5.0 out of 5 stars quiet and efficient
Much quieter than I expected. I feel very secure knowing that with the UVC light the humidity won't cause the filter to become infected.
1.0 out of 5 stars Faulty units with poor customer support
Entire batches of the units have faulty WiFi chips and units will not operate without it. Company blames it on Bolo and makes customer call them , wait on hold, give their company your contact info, wait for a new chip in the mail and then install the chip yourself! For a $700 unit! This is violation of privacy and a whole lot of work for customers. Troubleshooting this unit took hours out of my day. They could avoid this by recalling the bad batch of units. Do you have time for this? If not, choose a different brand.
3.0 out of 5 stars Hard to turn off
Seems to do what it is supposed to. The manual is a waste of paper. There is no information on operating it. I still haven’t figured out how to turn it off. This seems to be connected to the auto function. We often have windows open and don’t think this should be running. I unplug it when all else fails. There is almost no practical information included or available on line to answer basic questions.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well
Bought the 4 tier unit in 2021. Used it in main level of house, didn't notice too much change in air quality, but then moved it recently into our musty basement, and found that the musty smell went away in the room I had it in within a couple days. Am planning on buying another one.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great. A comfort to have around the little one.
A+ design, very quiet.
