5.0 out of 5 stars Best miracle noodles on the market
The ONLY miracle noodles I've ever tried that don't smell and taste weird or have a weird texture. They're slightly more chewy than normal noodles, but you can put whatever sauce you want with them or put them in soup and it's great for lowering calories and getting extra fiber.
5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious, Guilt-Free Pasta – A Must-Have for Healthy Eating
Skinny Pasta Fettuccine has become a staple in my kitchen! As someone who loves pasta but tries to stick to a low-carb, low-calorie lifestyle, this product is a dream come true. The texture is surprisingly close to traditional fettuccine, especially when prepared correctly, and it pairs well with any sauce—from light olive oil and veggies to rich Alfredo. What I love most is how light and satisfying it feels. No bloating, no heavy feeling afterward, just a delicious meal that supports my health goals. It’s also gluten-free and made with konjac, which is a huge plus for anyone watching their carb intake or managing blood sugar.Quick to prepare, incredibly versatile, and absolutely guilt-free—Skinny Pasta Fettuccine is a winner. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy pasta without the extra calories or carbs!
1.0 out of 5 stars Could be a problem
We are new to a Gluten Free diet, so we were excited to find this possible substitute. Buyer beware! We read reviews before purchase, so we were on the look out for questionable bags. Ordered a 6 pack of angel hair and a 6 pack of Fettuccini. Made it through 2 bags of the Angel hair before finding a questionable bag, dumped that. Fast forward a few weeks, made some Fettuccine Alfredo with 2 bags, out of bag looked great, threw it in with my warm sauce and served it up. Tasted off, not like the Angel Hair, and it was very rubbery. Funny thing is after going back through our food journals, we noticed when we ate the Angel Hair, we both experienced intestinal discomfort and all the things with that afterwards. After the dinner of fettuccine, we were both up in the middle of the night with problems. Did some more investigating, and found that the Konjac root products can be highly indigestible for certain individuals. Found that if you eat a lot of it, there can be intestinal blockages. Not sure how to process all this. Seems a shame to waste the rest of this, but we most definitely do not want to go through that again. I would love to get in touch with the company, but their website does not have a customer service number or email, only contacts for orders and shipments. All I can say is do your research and maybe find a single bag in the store and try it out before you sub out.
4.0 out of 5 stars Versatile noodles to avoid pasta envy
The point of zero calorie noodles is to avoid Pasta envy, allowing you to skip the actual flour noodle base of a pasta dish, while enjoying the rest. Yes, out of the package they don't taste like anything and need a rinse because of the initial weird (not bad but weird) smell. But they have zero calories and fill your bowl. The key, I've found, is to rinse them in a sieve, put the in a container with enough sauce or perhaps chicken consomme to wet them, then microwave for a couple of minutes. Drain in the same sieve (important - they will otherwise water down your sauce) then dump them in your bowl before overthinking your desire for the pasta the rest of the family is having and top with the rest of the stuff you're serving & sauce. Now your dish looks like everyone elses! Voila, 300-400 calories less. They're slippery but will taste good & fill you up. It's really the most you can hope for when the family wants spaghetti.
5.0 out of 5 stars ***USE Unsweetened almond or cashew milk to Cook!!!
The trick is low calorie *Unsweetened coconut milk or cashew milk* (25-30 calories per 1 cup)! Forget a bunch of other high calorie sauces/dressings, which just make it taste artificial & negates the low calorie appeal…the low cal milk makes the taste, texture, & appearance exactly like buttery pasta…I’ve cooked these for my parents and my own family numerous times this way and they love them! I heat my pan up between medium/hot…spray a bit of PAM. Drain & dry the noodles (I use 3 bags at a time - 27 calories total) & start w/ some seasonings (onion butter seasonings & dash of salt). I incrementally pour in my low calorie cashew milk at 1/4 cup at a time, stir, & once the milk evaporates, I repeat the process until I use a total of 1 cup for 3 bags of noodles. I lower the temp down a bit about halfway through…it’s usually about 15 mins on the pan to get them soft & buttery like real pasta. I’m stirring the majority of the time. Near the end of the process, I sprinkle on some low fat feta and stir until evenly distributed. Makes about 6 servings at a grand total of 20 calories per serving.Alternatively, I do the same process if I want Mac & cheese, but instead of feta like I do for above recipe, I use a 0 calorie Mac&cheese seasoning - believe it’s technically a popcorn topper, but works just as well for this) & sprinkle on a bit of fat free skim shredded cheddar cheese (a little less than 1/4 cup at 40 calories distributed over 6 servings). Literally tastes like velveeta for about 10 calories per serving. If you want an even more buttery taste, use a couple of drops of butter extract for each of these recipes. You will never miss the real stuff again once you cook these bad boys the right way!
5.0 out of 5 stars I was pretty brutal in my initial review
As the title stated, I was brutal in my initial review and glad to correct that here. This is a GOOD product, but it is not an exact apples-to-apples substitute for normal pasta. There is some concession, but that it not a bad thing. Texture is similar. There is a slight smell, but you do need to rinse from the package BFEORE cooking. Taste is different, but a great sauce makes up for that. The WIN here is that carbs are relatively non existent I do, highly, recommend that you follow portion sizes to the letter especially when first trying this product. This products fills you up quickly and a full package might make you uncomfortable (and yes, I speak from experience here. I was hungry as I skipped Breakfast and Lunch that day. Lesson learned).
So light on the tummy
I heated 1 pouch up for 5 mins in a pan with some pesto, added some roasted chicken and it was lovely.Light and hit the spot! Great pasta replacement.
Inedible product
Wanted to like these. Bought the 24-pack of fettuccine. The product is so hard and dry that it is not edible. Stuck with 21 packages that I will not use!
This is a company you can trust!
I was initially planning to leave a less-than-stellar review, but after experiencing the outstanding customer support from Skinny Pasta, I felt compelled to share how impressed I am.Here’s what happened: In my 24-pack order, about six packs arrived looking dry and not quite right. I reached out to their team, and they responded within the same day offering to send replacements at no extra cost. That kind of service really stands out.As for the pasta itself: it’s fantastic! The taste is great, and the fact that it’s only 9 calories per serving still blows my mind. I usually pair it with homemade sauces to keep things healthy and avoid added sugars or processed ingredients. Since making the switch from regular pasta, I’ve seen a noticeable difference in my weight loss progress. To be clear, I’m already pretty active, go to the gym regularly, and watch what I eat, but swapping in Skinny Pasta gave me that extra edge I was looking for.Huge thanks to the Skinny Pasta team—not just for the product, but for truly caring about your customers.
Best I've tried (see comment for tips).
Awesome stuff. I've tried a few brands and this is my favourite. Also, angle hair is my preferred noodle type. I've had these with Asian and Italian meats/sauces. Pro tip - heat them up by boiling in chicken or beef stock and whatever seasonings you want. Gives the noodles a subtle base flavour that is augmented by whatever sauce you use. Also, there's nothing stopping you from mixing in a little bit of wheat or rice noodles of the same type while still reducing a huge number of calories.
Disappointed with Product Quality and Service
I ordered a box of 24 packs of konjac noodles, but 5 of them were not edible. Even though the noodles were supposed to be in water, they were completely dried out, rubbery, and stuck together in one solid block that would not come apart. I already sent a message to the seller, but I never received a reply. This was really disappointing. The product has potential, but the quality control and customer service need serious improvement.
