I LOVE these shoes. They are comfortable, supportive, with great traction, great ankle support, and they hold up in wet or cold weather. They fit true to size.They are lightweight enough to use as running or basketball shoes, but they are thick and durable enough to wear in heavy rain. I walk 6 miles each morning in these shoes, and they keep my feet warm and dry in the treacherous Seattle rain. They help with my chronic back pain, and have made a huge difference in my alignment. I’m prone to slipping on steep sidewalks, but the sole of these shoes has great traction. So far I have purchased two pairs for myself, and then I bought a pair for my dad.

These fit like the Moab 2 or 3's. Very comfortable. The sole is rubber instead of the Vibram = so far so good. They're just a bit more flexible than the Moab's. I need and appreciate the build and support of the Moab model and found these to be the same. We'll see how the rubber sole makes a difference. I bought them because of the light color, and I trust the Merrell brand. Wore them for a whole day without issues.
