It’s like they thought of everything and made it work perfectly. Bought this on Black Friday and have been using it daily. It’s just so well done, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to maintain, and makes amazing coffee and espresso. Seems to be made that typical robust KitchenAid style that seems like it will last forever.

This machine works beautifully and consistently makes great coffee drinks. It’s easy to set up and to jump in and start making your favorite coffee. You can tailor the drinks to your specific taste. The machine walks you through necessary cleaning and maintenance steps on the full-color touchscreen. So far, worth every penny! A gift for my wife, she loves it.

Disappointed with Quality Control – Returning ItI bought the KitchenAid Fully Automatic Espresso Machine KF8 as a surprise Christmas gift for my wife. Along with it, I got her a nice selection of coffee beans, which she unwrapped first. She was thrilled Then I brought out the espresso machine from the backroom.As I unpacked it, I noticed it looked like it had already been used. There was dried milk on the side, coffee grounds in the grinder, and the plastic near the water tank looked melted or bubbled. For something that costs this much, I would have expected much better quality control.Christmas morning is supposed to be special, but this was a huge letdown. My wife was understandably disappointed, and so was I. Needless to say, it's being returned. Very, very disappointed.

Wow! This coffee maker makes the best coffee.The biggest grip is that family members do not always follow the cleaning instructions provided by the machine.-) I have whole house water filtration and do not need to replace the Espresso's water filter as often as it suggests. It would be nice if I could adjust the replacement interval according to my needs.

they give you a number of different drinks that it can make. HOWEVER, they are ALL just different ways of mixing coffee and cream. You must leave the machine on or it will automatically self clean wasting water

Beautiful machine, large (enough) touch screen, great features - save preferences and options. Self-cleaning after each time you turn it own. The water tray does fill up sooner than expected (maybe after 3-4 cleanings), but it does prompt you when it's needed. Intuitive for the tech savvy and easy for the not so savvy.

I am very happy with this machine. It makes a great cup of coffee the way you want. It can froth or warm up the milk and you can adjust the amounts of coffee and milk to your liking. Clean up is easy and directions for all of it is simple.
