I’ve had this roborock for just over a week now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made—especially as a mom of two very active little boys!Our house is a mix of wood flooring in the living room and bedrooms and tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. The machine handles both surfaces flawlessly. It transitions smoothly between them and picks up everything from cereal crumbs to muddy footprints (thanks to soccer practice and snack time chaos).The mopping feature is amazing. It washes and dries its mop all by itself, so I never have to touch a dirty mop head. It also works with Alexa, which means all I need to do is to say "Alexa, ask roborock to clean the room".I honestly didn’t expect to love it this much, but with two boys , this robot has saved me time, effort, and a lot of sanity. Highly recommend it to any busy parent or anyone who just wants cleaner floors with minimal effort.

I love this mop/vac. Does not streak my hardwood floors. Easy to program and schedule. There is nothing I don't like and a lot to love.I had to call for help. I could actually understand the person helping and he was very helpful and followed up by text.I don't have carpet so cannot speak to use on carpet but I do have several throw rugs. It cleans them well - lifting g if I don't want them mopped.I have back pain after cleaning floors. Not anymorewith "Bob's" help. I'll be eighty years old on my next birthday. Bob has changed my world. I am a very happy person. He is scheduled to clean everywhere at night, except our room. He cleans our room in the morning after we get up.. All I have to do is clean the bathrooms and keep things packed up and we're always ready for a drop in visitor.

I have to leave 1 star because the customer service is so horrific. The thing is cool and works well but only lasts 6 months. After that you send it in to them and then after 45 days… nothing. They keep telling me that UPS lost it but rather than them filing the claim (it was their label) they just keep telling me UPS is looking for it. I own a business and when a carrier loses something we ship a new one immediately. Just know you’ll only get 6 months use out of it

The media could not be loaded. Roborock S8 Max Ultra – One Week In: A Real-World ReviewI’ve been using the Roborock S8 Max Ultra for about a week now, right after moving into my new home. Overall, the experience has been smooth and impressive.📶 Setup & Wi-Fi ConnectionDuring the initial setup, I did run into a common issue: the robot only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Since my home network used a combined 2.4GHz/5GHz band, I had to split the bands and connect the robot to the 2.4GHz network manually. Once I did that, the pairing process was straightforward.🧹 Cleaning PerformanceMy house has laminate flooring throughout and tiled bathrooms. Right now, we don’t have a lot of furniture, but the robot has done a great job navigating around chair and table legs, accurately detecting and avoiding them with its obstacle avoidance system.I ran two separate cleaning tasks: a full-house vacuum at standard intensity and a full-house mopping. The vacuuming performance was solid—it picked up hair and small debris effortlessly. Some corners were a bit hard to reach, but that’s pretty typical for any robot vacuum. The mopping was also impressive: the floor was noticeably cleaner without being left too wet.🤖 Smart Features That Impressed MeTwo things stood out in a good way:1. When vacuuming the small bathroom rug, the robot not only detected it accurately but also cleaned it without shifting it out of place.2. It successfully recognized and marked clusters of charging cables and even a bathroom scale on the app’s map—which was surprisingly accurate.⚠️ One Minor FlawThe only issue I’ve encountered so far was in my study. The robot detected the modem’s power cable lying on the floor but still spent a little too long cleaning around it, eventually pulling the plug out. I plan to set a no-go zone in that area for future cleanings, which should solve the problem.✅ VerdictAll in all, this was a very worthwhile purchase. The S8 Max Ultra has taken care of the majority of my floor cleaning needs and saved me a ton of time and effort. While it’s not flawless, its performance and smart features have been more than enough to win me over.

So we’ve had the Roborock S8 Ultra vacuum and mop we bought on Prime Day for about 3 months and I gotta say it’s pretty awesome. The vacuum is faster and quieter than our old Roomba i7+ and I think it does a better job. We have it running in different rooms throughout the week, so it’s running about 80 minutes at most vs the almost 3 hours it took the old Roomba. The mop works out well for cleaning the hard floors and we really like that it washes and dries the mop after cleanings so it doesn’t get funky. The auto empty on the vacuum and auto fill and empty for water and detergent on the mop is super convenient. The app isn’t as intuitive as the Roomba app, but I think it’s more useful once you learn it. Only reason for the mark down from five stars because the app is not as easy to use.If you end up looking for a robot vacuum, it’s a solid choice, especially if you can score it on sale.

Mi robot es maravilloso, todas las mañanas hago una revisión rápida de la casa y la pongo a trabajar, guardé dos mapas en la app ya que mi casa es de dos niveles y puedo cambiarla muy fácil a trabajar arriba o abajo. Mis pisos son de mármol y con el detergente especial de la marca quedan muy bien y también limpia sin problema los tapetes de caucho del gimnasio. En la app restringí algunas habitaciones que suelen ser caóticas en casa como el lavadero y solo programo la limpieza de esta área cuando ya he hecho una revisión previa de que no haya obstáculos mayores. Limpia todos los rincones y me ahorra muuuuuucho trabajo.

Es simplemente perfecto. Llevo más de tres meses con él y la verdad es súper útil, barre a la perfección y trapea muy bien. La detección es muy buena y súper rápida. Lo recomiendo 100%

The convenience of scheduling cleanings and knowing he’ll reliably get the job done without constant babysitting is priceless. He navigates like a pro, never gets lost, and actually cleans instead of just pushing dirt around. The mopping function is a bonus, and the self-emptying dock? Absolute bliss.Honestly, you can’t put a price on peace of mind and happiness. Not only is my home cleaner than ever, but my back is thanking me too! Excelente limpieza terrible experiencia
Compré el S8 Max, limpia de maravilla, pero duro apenas 1 día y comenzó con error 56, dice que supuestamente tiene algo atorado en el sistema de mopa, busqué y busqué y nada, derroentw volvió a funcionar pero ya no levanta la mopa al moverse y volvió a presentar el error 56, ni 3 días de uso. Limpia muy muy bien pero me dio la peor experiencia después de haber comprado el S7. Y lo peor de todo es que la devolución hay que pagarla, Bolo solo reembolsa 400.00 pesos lo cual es una burla. Un producto de 24,000 pesos que deja de funcionar al día siguiente es una terrible experiencia y peor sin poderlo regresar de forma sencilla y que no sea muy muy costosa.
