Help take the odors out of my husband's farm clothes without leaving a flowery perfumy scent which neither of us care for. He hangs his work pants and those dried nicely without that stiff scratchy feeling. Freshen up towels. Not a fabric softener person myself and usually do not use but those work clothes needed something to get that farm, sweat, oil smell out and detergent alone did not help. The price is more than I would consider spending personally, but you get what you pay for, and this help eliminate smells. I used to get the "old smells" out of Afghans and clothes I thrift to sell online. Worked so much better and left clothes and blankets with a fresh clean scent. Ingredients and direction of usage on bottles.

You get a case of four liquid fabric softener for commercial use in this set. Although it's meant for commercial use, I don't see why it wouldn't work for home use. I use this along with Persil detergent and you only really need a small amount of fabric softener, maybe about 1oz. For me, I just measure until the line on my Samsung washer. I would imagine each bottle is good for a significant amount of loads. It's rated for 190 loads, but it all depends on how much you use per load.The fabric softener is also HE compatible, which is often required for newer washing machines. The listing doesn't indicate that but I am glad that it is HE compatible.Commercial fabric softener may not be the most cost effective option because this actually costs quite a lot compared to what you could get at Costco, you may need to lower the dosage accordingly. Commercial fabric softeners often have concentrated formula to ensure effective softening over non-commercial, so I definitely prefer this over non-commercial.There isn't much fragrance, and the purpose of this product is to soften your clothes using chemicals, and it does a great job at it.Cost is a little on the high side but if you use less, you will get more loads and overall save money compared to the non-commercial variant.Very happy and pleased with this fabric softener over the course of several loads I have used this. 5/5 product! I don't know what the real difference (ingredients) is between the Downy Commercial Liquid Fabric Softener and the Downy softener I buy in the big box stores, but this one is amazing! The fragrance does NOT irritate my nose (senses) like the others do (except the unscented one). I felt my clothes, towels, and sheets felt softer and had less static. It freshened the cat & dog blankets, bedding & towels great. The Downy Professional fabric softener would be perfect for animal shelters, hotels, laundry services, restaurant linens, etc. The price is on the high end vs what other non-commercial Downy softeners cost. However, I used much less product for better results. I did remove a star due to the high price imo (just under $40 a bottle at time of review).
