Had to return itBut that being said I've been a big fan on the 360 line up....this was just not for me it did really good in shaded areas..the fallow me setting in dam cool lolkingAnd must everything has a decent video...but the 360 was having a hard time trying to get it right plus my app would crash trying to down load itAnd never could get it the way I wanted it to look.Could of just been me..... would I recommend it...yes I would just need more time and patience then me

This camera is so versatile! It records great video at a very decent quality while being very flexible with the type of shot you want. I mostly have it very wide, like a fisheye lens because you can get sick clips in sports and also the feature to edit in the app and clip is fantastic. It takes a bit of practice to get the key framing right since if you don’t do it correctly the animation might look very jarring but overall it does a damn good job. The battery isn’t the best, I can probably go no more than 2 hours recording in 8k or even 1.5 hours. Maybe that’s plenty for most but for me it’s a bit lacking. Good thing the batteries aren’t crazy expensive but they are a bit pricey.

I purchased the Insta360 X4 after my Insta360 X3 unexpectedly stopped working. Using a $450 Bolo gift card from the warranty, I opted for the X4 from an Evo Gimbal seller on Bolo because they offer extra accessories like the thermo grip, which isn't available from the Insta360 store on Bolo. I typically prefer returning costly electronics to first-party or direct sellers to avoid restocking fees, but I didn't encounter any issues with my Insta360 X4 from the Evo Gimbal seller on Bolo.Additionally, the X4 boasts significantly faster loading times, and my favorite feature is the quick capture settings, which allow for customizable video settings—an improvement over the X3.

This doesn't work well out of the box.Features like remote control thru the app dont work.You also can't edit single camera mode like you can 360.To get 8k video you need really good lighting. (Sunny day)Just over 1 hour battery when recording 8k 360 video.The included lens guards are plastic and scratch easy.I hope they can make some improvements with some updates.
