Extremely well made. Perfect for my use. The quality of the tool is exceptional. Due to the extra-long size of the tools, I hung them on an over-the-door set of hooks I ordered to hang the oiled wok in our appliance closet. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Craft Wok products!

terrific ladle...seems heavy duty...only reason I took off a star was the wooden handle came right off the first time I went to use it! LOL, a little lax on the quality control I'm thinking. However, some Elmer's seems to have cured the problem, I may also add a small screw to secure it even more firmly.

I highly recommend this ladle. The only possible downsides I can see are its size and weight. I think it's just about perfect, though. It's made from a thick, sturdy stainless steel. There are no gaps in it and no sharp edges that can bite into your hands while you're cooking. I hate the stainless steel tools that stores try to sell that are just thin sheets of metal stamped into shape. This piece, in contrast, is easy to hold and feels good in your hand. I like that it has no gaps because I don't have to worry about water getting into it while it's being washed or food rotting in some little crevice that I can never clean. I personally like the weight and length of this. The weight tells me it's sturdy and I don't have to ever worry about bending it. The length is long enough to keep my hand away from the heat in the pot. It's advertised for 14"-16" woks. Mine's slightly smaller, 13"-something, but I like having a little extra length anyway. I feel it's more versatile that way.I try not to put too much stock in prices when I write a review. New products prices can fluctuate wildly. I feel I have to mention price on this one. When I look for a ladle like this (all stainless, similar size, not just punched out of sheet metal) in our local "general-merchandise discount store," I would literally be looking at a product with a retail price of over $35. I think the store overcharges terribly for things like this, but nonetheless, even if the price of this ladle doubles from what it currently is, it wouldn't be a bad buy. (Please don't take me up on that, Craft Wok!)I have a couple of items from the Craft Wok company and I am impressed with the craftsmanship that they show. From my experience, I would recommend almost any product that they make. The only things I would hesitate to recommend are the wooden-handled utensils. I do not have one of these from this company, but I have one from a different, well-known company. The utensil works well, but the handle keeps coming out when I don't want it to and it can't go in the dishwasher with the wood handle. I love this ladle, but I would not have gotten it if Craft Wok only sold the wood-handled variety.5 stars for quality materials & craftsmanship

Ladle came with some minor imperfections
This was a free replacement ladle sent by craft wok. The length is about the same as the medium version of the ladle I ordered but with a smaller head. So in comparison it's much lighter overall. I'm not the strongest person out there, so the smaller version felt much better in my hand than the medium one.In terms of customer support, they stand by what they say. I'll give them 5 star for their outstanding customer service and overall quality of the product despite minor imperfections. If you're looking to never have to replace your wok spoon this lifetime this is the one to get. I only buy and support quality kitchen utensils and this spoon is definitely worth the investment. Thank you craft wok!
Received a defective wok spoon
I just received the wok spoon and was greatly disappointed as it was covered in rust, dents and scratches throughout the back of the ladle head and most of the handle. I can see that the construction is solid and well build, it is slightly longer than my other utensils which means it would work great on my 14.2" yoshikawa ren wok but a little too long for other pots and pans. Sadly I received one that is completely ruined before getting to even use it. I am hoping to get a refund at this point. Otherwise I would have given the spoon a five starUpdate: after contacting the seller and craftwok they refunded me and will be sending me a replacement spoon. Great customer service from craftwok!
