Years ago, Neutrogena had a product called "Visibly Firm" that I absolutely loved. I have sensitive, highly reactive, skin that can't decide between wrinkles and acne. That Neutrogena product was wonderful - it smoothed out my skin and made it really soft, without causing any irritation or break-outs. But then they discontinued it - the only place you can find it now is on e-bay and it costs $60 or more. I'm not about to pay $60 for a product that is probably about 15 years past its expiration date!! Enter Asterwood's Copper Peptides Serum. It is the closest product I've ever found to the Visibly Firm copper peptide that I used to love (and trust me - I've gone through several!) This product does everything my old favorite did as far as softness, firmness, etc., with no irritation and at a fraction of the price. I'm already on my second bottle, and will continue to purchase it as long as it remains available!!

I've been using this for approx a month now and I haven't noticed any adverse effects but I also use different skincare on different days, different serums etc, so I don't feel like I can properly review this or say if it's been working or not. I use multiple serums that target firmness and pores so I could not tell you in all honesty if this is doing the work or not. More on that later.As other reviews mention, it has a cinnamon smell. It doesn't mention that it's scented but it definitely has this smell. I don't mind the smell at all but it is a little odd for skincare to smell like that! I haven't noticed immediate irritation when I apply it, which I usually do so I guess my skin does not mind this fragrance (if that's what it is).The more on that later bit: I don't notice any immediate results either like I do with some other products that claim to have a plumping effect. This serum just sits on my face, even when I use it alone I do not notice an immediate plumping effect to my fine lines. However, I see this effect in cheaper products I use so I don't know what to make of Asterwood's product.This product does dry sticky on me after I put it on with another serum. I even layer it in terms of viscosity, but this still dries a bit sticky, making me have to wait to put on moisturizer.I've never used copper peptides before so I don't really know what kind of results I should be expecting. It hasn't broken me out, it smells nice (to me), but I also haven't noticed any "wow" kind of results. Due to all these factors, I'd have to say it's just okay. It doesn't blow me away but it also isn't making my skin freak out. I'll keep using it but I also don't know if it's doing anything.

I barely started to use this serum, so I don't know if it works, but the consistency is very hydrating and absorbs very well in to your skin, plays well with the rest of my skincare and it leaves no pilling, there is a slight smell to it, I suppose coming from the copper peptides, but its not bad and it does not linger, overall, very pleased with this serum, will continue using it for sure.

Seems fine. It absorbs into my face without any issues, no irritations.It is scented though which I'd rather it be unscented or a more neutral scent.Can't say about long term benefits but immediately my face does tighten.

I've only been using it for 2 weeks and have already noticed a big difference in my forehead wrinkles and my 11's. It's quickly absorbed into your skin and didn't dry my skin out at all.
