It doesn't taste exactly like mountain dew, or at least I can't get it at the right level, but it is delicious and amazing and cheaper than buying soda at the store. Especially if you go to the SodaStream site instead of here and use their subscription service. They charge you only $60 for four CO2 canisters compared to this place. Love sodastream!

But you need to use 👉🏻 FILTERED water. With regular water from faucets it will taste bad. If you don’t like ice cubes in you Mt Dew it’s because the minerals (and possibly chemicals) interact with the citric acid in the mixture creating a bad aftertaste. Get a Waterdrop or Brita water filter. My friend is an engineer that has built machines used in processing drinks and foods. When mentioned the after taste to him HE suggested trying filtered water. Apparently all soda products are made from using filtered water due to formula ingredients not working well with contaminants like minerals or fluoride commonly found in drinking water.

I made a 900ml batch of it with my drinkmate carbonator and the color is lighter, the flavor is abyssmal.The flavor could be partially due to excessive carbonation, but the color indicates the mix values are not accurate.The instructions indicate 18ml per 360 ml (360/18 = 20 units, 1 unit would be the mix and the rest water) serving which is 1ml mix to 19ml carbonated water. The drinkmate bottle goes to 850ml, which comes out to 44.75 ml of mix which would make a grand total of ~900ml serving. I used a syringe to get 45ml of mix from the bottle.I will have to experiment with carbonation levels and how much mix to add to figure out if this is worth buying. 2-liter bottles are so much easier to deal with, just chill, pour and drink. And you get the same quality time after time. Hopefully with some practice and experimenting I can use these to make consistent and enjoyable diet mountain dew and save some shelf space.Update:Made my second batch. Really limited the CO2 to only a partial pump rather than my typical double full pump. That definitely allowed the mix flavor to shine more. I made a 360ml serving and used the base 18ml and it came out sweeter but not enough CO2. I added a bit more CO2 and it is kind of close to the 2-liter flavor after it has had a few minutes to breath. I bumped the overall rating to 4 stars.I also put the information into my drinkmate cost calculator and it actually looks pretty good. With the cost of CO2 it comes out to $0.25 per 12 ounce serving at MSRP. Better than the cost of buying it in 2-liter bottles even.

Has less sugar than the original and a lot less calories. Not a bad thing imo. Tastes close enough that I enjoy it and it’s definitely healthier and cheaper than buying mnt dew from a store. No complaints honestly just wanted to let people know the taste is slightly off because it’s less sweet but soooo close to the Original

I legitimately think this tastes better than actual mountain dew, and the convenience factor of being able to make it whenever I want without having to go buy more is stellar! I can't see myself ever going back to 2 liters after buying this.

We love the soda stream! The flavors taste just like the real deal. Since we don’t drink a lot of soda, this is amazing to be able to just make a bottle quickly.The bottle size is perfect and bc it’s still new we haven’t noticed any leakage.

Soda Stream Mountain Dew Zero Sugar is a 10/10 product, incredible, great taste, its amazing.The 4/5 stars is ordering this from Bolo... Ive ordered it 5 separate times hoping for a different result... but each time I end up getting diet cola, pepsi, regular mountain dew, regular cola, but never MTN DEW Zero. and its a hassle to return due to it not being a returnable item. strongly suggest ordering directly from soda stream or buying in store so you actually get what you want. Bolo warehouse needs to get their stuff together when it comes to soda stream.
