The media could not be loaded. My Caribbean heritage typically peels potatoes with knives. I know I’m too clumsy for that & would absolutely end up slicing myself. This peeler is safe, I felt no sharp edges at all. It glides effortlessly across the potato (I chose the most oblong shaped one to demonstrate & was almost done within 30 seconds). The design of it has finger indents that fits comfortably in your hand even if you’re a lefty. When I was done I easily cleaned it with my dish cloth because it can be hard for a sponge to fit inside the blades space.I didn’t give 5 stars because the blade folds depending how you angle it which is why you see in the vid there are moments it get stuck on some ridges.
