I like this arcade box but out of now where I got a failed screen when loading.

I think this box has every game ever made. I expected 3,000 games maby but no there is 33,000+ games. The button setup on included controllers are different but I'm using it to upgrade my arcade1up machine and will be using an arcade style setup. Can't wait to play it. All in all way better than I had expected

I ordered this product b/c I had heard good things about it. I am not home much so I needed to have a product completed and ready to go, otherwise I would have downloaded and done it all myself. When the product arrived instead of 44,000 games it had 16. Big difference. I sent in for a refund and was told I had to get a replacement 1st. I sent back the other product (not before getting messaged to reload the programing again. I bought this product for that I did not have to download anything. Again if I had wanted to download anything I would have done it all myself and not bought the product. The replacement after 3 weeks never arrived. Finally got my refund. Very dissappointed in the entire situation.

I actually bought the Arcade Box a few months ago and I wanted to play it for a while to give a very elaborate review for it. I noticed a lot of negativity towards it and wanted to give it a fair shot.The Arcade Box is one of many retro systems out there now but one of few that are in console form, so that makes it unique in a way. From a technical standpoint, being a console seems like it would operate better than the typical HDMI/USB retro console setup.I’ve been able to test all of the games on here, to make sure they run and work. I can honestly say that each and every game does run and, for the most part, they all run smoothly.Obviously, consoles such as the Atari, NES, SNES, Master System, Genesis, and the variety of handheld games are going to be the ones that over perform because of their smaller sizes.With that said, the 3-D console games still operate perfect for the most part. One very notable star for the Arcade Box is the Nintendo DS, because its games operate flawlessly, which I was not expecting. The PlayStation and the Dreamcast also shine. However, I would’ve loved to have seen more games from the latter.Now it’s time to address the elephant in the room, which has been a very negative standout in other reviews and that is the N64. Let me preface this by saying that this is really not the fault of the developers. Nintendo did make the N64 games nearly impossible to emulate with how they designed the cartridges for that particular console, so the developers tried their best with the Arcade Box.Let me just set the record straight by saying that all of the N64 games do operate. However, some take longer to load than others, which leaves you on this black and gray screen for an undetermined amount of time for certain games.When they do eventually load up, they run fine, and are perfectly responsive. However, with some games, there is a noticeable grain to the appearance, which I can only assume was the original game being very finicky in the emulation. However, they do run and can be played, so that is a huge positive regardless.It’s worth noting that most of these games (if not all) do not run in wide screen. Technically, they weren’t designed to, so they are put in their original screen ratio and have a border placed around them. The handheld games display at an even smaller ratio, which is fine if you have a bigger TV, but can be a little problematic for smaller TVs.The last thing to discuss is the wireless controllers that come with it. They do feel a bit light and easy to break, which is nothing new for systems like this. I would recommend getting a controller that you can plug into the USB, but if you can’t do that, these will work just fine.So overall, it works great and it’s definitely worth getting in my opinion. There are a few problems here and there, but nothing that hinders the great experience it offers.
