I have an allergy to corn, and that means all sorts of other words that don’t say corn, but things that contain corn. It is hard for me to find something like this without any form of corn in it. These are cookies that I first had on the island of St. Lucia upon Getting off the plane and beating our resort concierge. I love them there not only because they taste good, but they did not affect my breathing as items with corn in them trigger my asthma and it’s just not a good thing. I love these while I was on vacation and was so happy to come home and find them available to order on Bolo. They have a cute design, which makes them easy to lay out on a plate as I have already done next to fruits for a small get together, they’re not too crumbly, and the best part is that these are not overly sweet. I get a headache from things that taste overwhelmingly of sugar and these just have a subtle and enjoyable taste with a hint of cinnamon. Sometimes I get lucky to find them at Costco. No matter where I have to go for them, these are the only cookie like sweet snack that i purchase for myself now and am very satisfied.
