No volume control. Assorted sounds to entertain the kids, or the kid in you! Lock this up before video conferences if you have poor impulse control (ask me how I know). The sound quality isn't fantastic, but this is just a novelty toy made for laughs (and boring video conferences, wait...no, don't do it!). If you absolutely can't help yourself, and you MUST push the buttons, try blaming the kids, the dog, or AI.

Its a little outdated, and quality of sound isn't quite there yet even with fresh batteries. You know it's not going to be good if it has a screw for the battery compartment cover instead of a simple molded plastic latch. Something you would find at a swap meet in bulk. Not something for usability.The idea is good, It works, but I don't think it's up to par with a sound machine in 2025.Maybe in 1985. Perhaps for nostalgia, but for me I can't reccomend this to others in good conscious.

This device is a lot of fun, especially for kids. My grandchildren love it. There is a very good variety of sounds- 16 of them. My only negative is that the sounds are very loud to me. I wish they had included a volume adjustment on this product. All in all, a fun device for people of all ages.

This is a calculator sized sound maker that fits well in a pocket. there are 16 total sound effects with no repeats. The batteries come preinstalled in the device so its ready to go right out of the box.This machine has most of your common sound effects such as applause, scream, layghs, etc. a couple of the sound effects are a little lame, like the womp womp womp woooomp sad trombone noise is lower quality than the others.This is a very easy sound effect pedal for messing with nephews/nieces or lightening up a zoom meeting.

The wife does not appreciate this as much as I do. Not surprised. Decent repertoire of sound effects from voices to fanfares to bodily gas discharges. It is sort of loud however. It would have been better if there was a switch or something to turn it down. Anyhow she tells me to grow up. I refuse.
