Let me start by saying finding just the right quality on these types of figures for a child who is detail oriented is HARD. He approved immediately and the smile he had was worth the research! The paint, details, material quality, and it's ability to move made him so happy. It was slightly more expensive that I'd have liked but this quality justifies the cost if you have the money to spare for it.

Bought for my grandson and tail came off immediately, the small ball and socket parts are too small to hold the tail in place and hard to put back on. Not worth the money we paid for it. I wanted to return it but of course he would not let me. He said his dad can super glue it in place. 😂

It's an amazing figure despite what people say. I would recommend it for any collector. It has great articulation and design. I'd say you get a steal for the price. I was surprised when I saw that this guy was $75 dollars. You can almost feel his size.

子供が欲しいというので購入しました。細かい部分も動く様になってて、映画で見た泳ぎのスタイルも再現できます。キラキラ塗装も良いです。思ってたよりリアルな感じでカッコいいです。子供が大喜びしてました。もう少し大きめのが発売されたらいいなぁと言ってました。
Una buona figure del lucertolone più famoso di sempre, specie se si riesce a trovarla in offerta
Godzilla è un Kaiju, un mostro tipico della fantascienza nipponica, che non ha certo bisogno di presentazioni. La sua prima comparsa risale infatti al lontano 1954 (sì, lo scorso anno ha compiuto ben 70 anni) e da allora il suo design ha subito tante variazioni fino ad arrivare a quello moderno della sua versione evoluta rappresentata nell'ultimo film della serie Godzilla Vs. Kong.Questa action figure fa parte della linea SH Monsterarts di Bandai, cugina quindi della più comune linea SH Figuarts, che si occupa di rappresentare, come dice il nome, figure principalmente mostruose o comunque meno "umanoidi". Marchio di fabbrica di questa linea è il prezzo che generalmente si attesta verso il centinaio di euro, arrivando facilmente a superare questa soglia ed i loro prodotti vanno spesso esauriti in tempi brevi (Rendendoli quindi disponibili solo tramite rivenditori terzi che ne gonfiano ulteriormente il prezzo).Comincio con il dire che a livello di design questo non è il Godzilla che preferisco, trovo che la testa sia un pochino troppo piccola ma è una delle poche figure prodotte da Bandai ad includere anche un effetto speciale, ovvero il Respiro Atomico. Mossa iconica di Godzilla. L'inclusione di questo effetto speciale mi ha fatto, alla fine, preferire questo modello in quanto vi assicuro che in esposizione rende davvero tanto. Questo speciale raggio in colore bluastro, lo stesso delle scaglie presenti su tutto il suo corpo, è in realtà forse anche l'unico vero grande difetto di questa figure. Già il suo montaggio ha richiesto un po' più di sforzo rispetto a quanto avrei voluto, praticamente è attaccato ad una mascella secondaria. Va quindi smontata quella già inserita, cosa che ho trovato davvero complicata perché è abbastanza piccola da tirare via ed almeno nella mia copia veramente molto incastrata. Neanche il phon ha dato un grande aiuto in questo caso e mi sono arrossato le dita visti gli appigli scomodi ed un poco appuntiti. Comunque poi ci sono riuscito ed ho inserito la mandibola secondaria che ha già un pezzettino di raggio al suo interno. Il resto del raggio va semplicemente spinto dentro ma non c'è un reale incastro, clips o altro. Ed è inoltre piuttosto pesante. Questo genera una certa difficoltà nel tenere il raggio in orizzontale senza un supporto adeguato, non incluso, e talvolta anche nel sistemarlo per tenerlo nella sua iconica posizione a testa alta, mentre lo spara verso il cielo in preda alla furia: in questo caso bisogna giocare molto con le scaglie presenti sul collo per bloccare la testa, una cosa che richiede qualche minuto ed un po' di praticità ma che poi offre buoni risultati come è possibile vedere.Per il resto troviamo una buona figura, non particolarmente in scala ma comunque un poco più grande del relativo Kong e tanto ci basta per essere felici. Le articolazioni sono buone per quanto non le migliori viste su questa linea (ed in alcuni casi probabilmente anche inferiori ad alcuni modelli della concorrente Hiya) e consentono una discreta posabilità. Le zampe sono articolate come la testa e la mandibola, anche le gambe che vengono supportate dalla coda per le pose meno bilanciate (quindi non è necessaria una basetta). Ed è proprio la coda il pezzo forte delle articolazioni, non è realizzata con il classico fil di ferro ma ci sono più punti di articolazione come è tipico di questa linea SH Figuarts. E' molto posabile e può assumere posizioni particolarmente dinamiche.Buona la verniciatura, come spesso accade in casa Bandai, non ci sono problemi sulla mia copia e sono molto felice di questo. Merito anche del cellophane presente intorno alla figura stessa che ne impedisce eventuali urti durante il trasporto. La confezione è la tipica Bandai, blister in plastica richiudibile ed ideale per riporre di nuovo la figura al suo interno quando non vorrete più esporla. Certo, abbastanza voluminoso ma parliamo comunque di un bel Kaiju: nessuno si aspetta sia piccolo. Neppure enorme, attenzione: la figure è alta più o meno quanto un qualunque altro personaggio della linea Figuarts. Non fatevi ingannare dalle foto, parliamo di circa 16 centimetri quindi sarà giusto un pelo più grande di un Goku qualunque per dire.Resta però una bella figure da avere a parer mio, in particolare se volete un Godzilla da poter esporre subito con la sua posa più iconica ed il respiro atomico in bella vista. Il prezzo, se in offerta, può essere anche accattivante anche perché probabilmente a breve andrà esaurito essendo già rimpiazzato dalla sua nuova versione evoluta (quella con le scaglie rosate) che ha un design secondo me più interessante anche se i gusti sono ovviamente personali. Non è quindi una figura perfetta, starei forse sulle quattro stelline e mezzo ma non potendole rappresentare ne vedrete comunque cinque: in fondo non ci sono reali difetti per lasciarne solamente quattro, il prezzo alto fa parte della linea e, sostanzialmente, di tutte le action figure di importazione. Veramente, comunque, un pezzo interessante.
