I love them very much. I love the color and I love how they work. I’m just scared. I might break them. The reason that I like them is you can throw them in the microwave or the oven and warm them up and your food doesn’t get cold awesome set of dishes.

I bought the red garnet & the amber. First, they’re absolutely beautiful!! I love the edge so food won’t roll off & you have an edge to load your fork, so that’s cool. All the love for them, & there is an equal downside. They’re too thick to be able to load them in the dishwasher as normal plates. You have to really want to load them, & you have to skip rows, though you can put the smaller plates between. When I was pushing the lower rack in place, the plates & starter plates only made it so heavy it came off track & I had to use both hands to right it. The bowls & meal bowls will have to be done by hand. For reference, I have a 2024 GE Profile dishwasher, & I use both hands to hold them because they’re heavy & I have arthritis. Wouldn’t buy them again, & they’re too heavy to repack & return, so I will keep them.EDIT: I am returning one set because I still have the box & packing. These are far too inconvenient for daily use. The weight is nice, but they stack too tall, & you’ll likely be hand washing the dinner plate & meal bowls. Possibly the daily bowls, too. The starter plates fit in the dishwasher, the plates if you work at a pronounced angling them in (& reverse that when unloading). But for the meal bowls & daily bowls you’ll have to lay across the rack, rendering most of the rack useless & only able to wash a few things. Very, very disappointed & I do wish I could return the other set without the box. As it is, here I sit with $100 plate set that we won’t use much at all.EDIT 2: A problem we discovered is the bottoms aren’t glazed & even though they feel dry, when you stack them to put them away, the water in the bottom of the plate causes condensation on the top of the plate below the top plate. Overall, a very poor design. I have emailed the company to see I’d there is any way I can return the set I don’t have the box for, so we will wait & see if I get to have a functional set of dishes, or will these big, red beasts end up in my storage shed. I wish I’d never bought these.Last edit, I swear: the company finally responded! Brushed me off to Bolo to address my concerns. So to recap! Horrible plate design, dismissive customer service. Bolo, however, is the best! The did right it, & did so quickly.

Slightly darker than the picture. However, they weren't so great in our dishwasher. The side plates were a bit large and only fit where the main plates go; and the smaller bowls fit awkwardly and took up a ton of space.
