this thing slams. i have the voice coils running in parallel, so 2 ohm load on the amp. in a ported box. running about 300W, and the people next to me at stop lights hate me, because it's shaking their mirrors. quite happy with this purchase.

I bought it for a Tacoma and it thumps hard I have it for about 6 months and absolutely love it would buy again

Sounds ok installed in the same place as a stock subwoofer in 2014 jeep grand cherokee. have a rockford fosgate r2-1200x hooked to it turned down though it holds the power just fine. plastic box stock is not the best though.

As a single subwoofer, it pounds out incredible bass that's perfect for any music genre.But when paired with the CT Sounds 1000-watt monoblock amplifier, it's a whole different story - the bass becomes almost ridiculous! The combination of the Hydro's shallow mount design and the amplifier's massive power output creates a bass response that's both tight and thunderous.I've had numerous people ask me if I have two or more subs installed, but nope - it's just this single CT Sounds Hydro 10" subwoofer doing its thing! The build quality is top-notch, and the subwoofer's compact design made it easy to install in my truck.If you're looking for a high-quality subwoofer that can deliver mind-blowing bass, look no further than the CT Sounds Hydro 10". Sub was previously opened and installed by another customer. If the sub were to be exposed I would have returned it.
