I connected it to my 2018 Audi Q5 via normal USB-A port, connected my phone via BlueTooth to the device, and it just worked flawlessly since. It's been about 2 weeks now and haven't had a disconnect and it has reconnected each time I get near the car. In fact sometimes it connects while in the house and the wife is heading out to run errands.This is exactly what I wanted: Connect flawlessly, don't disconnect, do it's job. It didn't disappoint plus it was cheap so I consider this a win.Lastly: regarding the connection speed, it seems to connect pretty quick. I have one for my motorcycle Android Auto and it seems to connect at about the same speed, so I really don't feel it is particularly fast or slow, just works by the time we get out of the garage and putting on seat belts.

It's a little bit finicky it takes a minute for it to actually get working and you have to have your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi off but only connect through Bluetooth had to connect through Bluetooth a couple of times but has worked really well nice not having to have my phone plugged in

Purchased two of these last year. They have both worked flawlessly. One in a 2016 F-150 XLT and one in a 2019 GMC Terrain SLT.

I was excited about this item, as I have an android phone and often I find these devices are just for iphones. We have a similar device in another vehicle that works with iphone, and it works fine. I installed this and followed the directions and I am unable to get it to work. I have a Mazda with apple car play and android auto. I am able to find this device on my list of bluetooth devices, but it just won't connect. I tried upairing from my car and it still wouldn't work. It could be user error and not the device, but I eventually gave up. It was nicely packaged and does seems well made, I just wish I could get it to work.

Tried to use this with my VW Tiguan. Only worked sometimes. Even when it worked, sometimes phone calls will not work properly. Originally I saw people here writing they were able to resolve their issues with support. I tried contacting them, but got no help.Ended up just using the usb cable and disconnecting the device.
